Played week 1 of the 1986 season and only one team hit 20 points. Is it me or the game? A real score from that week was Chicago 41, Cleveland 31. Chicago's OFF is 12 and Cleveland's DEF is 2, giving Chicago a base of 10. Even if I roll 100 on the chart Chicago could only score 31 points. Most often they will stay at 10 or go down from there. What gives?
If I remember right a defensive rating of "2" would be added to Chicago's "12" . A "-2" would be subtracted . If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me.
No, the instructions say to subtract the defense from the offense. It even gives an example. But the ratings in the example are all 40's and 50's. I'm wondering if the NFL 1986 set is incorrect. And even if I added the 2 to the 12 they're still only starting with 14.
