I am putting my Game Winning Drive (1984 season) replay on hold so I can try my other purchase from Downey Games...Ultra Quick Football. The first replay I did was the 1970 NFL season. After replaying the season 4 times, I noticed that the won\loss records for each team came within 2 wins plus or minus of their final record. But the total pionts for and against was off. For example, Minnesota Vikings, my replay they gave up 64 total points against...real life 143. Dallas Cowboys also gave up 64 points in my replay...real life 221. Has anybody also seen this trend and are you using a modification to improve the points scored in the game? Other than that I enjoy the quick play format of the game, since I do not have the time to play other games in 45-60 minutes. Back to the results of the replay. Here are the final standings of the 1970 NFL season:

My total points for and against were off as well on my 1972 replay. My beloved Steelers went 6-8 and in real life they were 11-3 for that year.
Overall no complaints, this is a fun and addictive game to play! |

Is there any other way the HFA can be used in this game? Jeff suggested on another post how it can be used with the n-off and n-def ratings but he never explained how.
Thanks |

| What I do is add the HFA to the home team only. I do not subtract from the visiting team as well. When doing both it seemed like an unrealistic advantage to me. This is of course my own tweek. All gamers have there own tweeks to every game out there I think. |
