Nancy Nicely’s Between the Ropes was expecting Andy Kaufman but as the Big Screen came on with his face beaming it was apparent that Kaufman was a no show. From the Big Screen he spoke; “I am from Hollywood so I got lost on my way to see everyone in Memphis. I will however be at the show in Tupelo, Mississippi. Everyone who came to the show tonight was given what is called a roll of toilet paper or for most of you it is a roll of paper for the “Out House.” You should stop using the Sears catalog in the out house and start using toilet paper. You will notice that each section on the toilet paper had a picture of your favorite “King’s Court” wrestler so you will be able to wipe yourself on the face of Jerry Lawler, The Superstar Bill Dundee, King Cobra, The Dream Machine and the rest of the phony court. Tank U Betty Much.” Some fans were booing and throwing their roll of toilet paper at the ring while other fans were laughing and picking up the thrown rolls.

On his way to the locker room Mike stopped for a hot dog from the vendor. As he was putting mustard on the dog and had his back turned the vendor reached below his cart and pulled out Mike’s clock and slammed it over Mike’s head. Great Stuff! I wish I had known they were coming to Memphis, I would have loved to have watched this card.
I notice when ever King's Court attacks it is always at a 2 or 3 to 1. |

Please bare with me today. We were all up early into the morning awaiting the birth of our first great-grandchild. He arrived and he is doing very well although the rest of us are lacking presious sleep. The Federations will be inactive today but the action will continue tomorrow.
To MKABear - It must be a two edged sword for the fans who admire the Mempis (King's Court) wrestlers but are watching them resort to down and out evil ways to win their point. Many of the wrestlers who the King's Court is feuding (The Defenders) are also admired. The fan confusion has to be enormous. You have the book "Memphis Wrestling 1982" and you actually witnessed in person many of the feuds during that time. The road may be slightly different but the action in 1982 Memphis was the same. Memphis wrestlers invented new ways of winning and they were mainly in the highly illegal method. |

I think a first great-grandchild trumps wrestling (even Memphis wrestling)!

| I seem to remember that the APA were a surprising team to win and hold the title. How long have they been the team to beat? Does it look like there's any serious challengers on the horizon? |

| The Acolytes Protection Agency is a serious team. This is their 2nd run with the belts in spite of being listed as Hit Men for Hire. They held the belts originally for 5 months and then lost to The Harris Brothers. A month later the Harris Brothers having shaven thier heads and changing their names to The Disiples of Apolalypse lost the title to The APA. That was 8 months ago and the APA has turned back all comers since. Turned back have been some very good team; The Steiners, The Smokin Gunns, The Disciples of Apocalypse, The Nasty Boys, The Natural Disasters, The Headbangers and the Dudley's. Granted Jacqueline has helped but The APA has earned everyones respect. Next month The Bodydonners will try their luck and Sunny has been mouthing off that she has a surprise in store. Time will tell. The Bodydonners are aso a team that has performed pretty well seemingly over their heads. The young Hardy Boys are also beginning to show promise and have Lita taking over from Dok Hendricks as their manager. They could work their way into contention. |
