Jimmy Valiant responds with a taped interview. Lawler, you know you are shaking in your plastic boots. You and your boys threw every thing you could pick up at us, you even snuck up behind Austin and choked him with a microphone cord. We're still here, standing tall. You have just bought yourself some big City Chaos! You won't find a rest on either side of that muddy creek you call home. You run to Nashville, we're kicking your A! You run further into Mississippi or over to Little Rock, not far enough, that's right we're kicking your A! I guarantee, that when we leave this area, it will be on our terms, and I will wear your two dollar tiara out of Memphis International.

Dunn’s Transmission Service and Reed’s Photography presents
SWF Wrestling – Mid-South Coliseum – Memphis, TN Att: 11,292

Commentators; Lance Russell and Dave Brown
(Watch TV Wrestling on WMC-TV Channel 5 – Saturday Mornings at 11:00)
Referee; Jerry Calhoun Ring Announcer; Ray Reeve

The King’s Court; Jerry “King” Lawler, Superstar Bill Dundee, Wild Bill Ash, King Cobra, The Assassins (Cuban & Iranian), Mike George, The Dream Machine and newest member Jimmy “Mouth of the South” Hart came to the top of the ramp. Lined up next to each other they were an imposing group. The Coliseum was full of “Ooh’s and Ahh’s” and more than a few kids were frightened by the sight. Lawler took the microphone; “We are here for……………..”

A loud musical introduction playing “Here I Come to Save the Day”- The Theme from Mighty Mouse interrupted Lawler from the Large TV Screen. As the music ended a so called wrestler came on the screen. Someone yelled; “My God that’s Latka from Taxi.” The so called wrestler started to speak; “My name is Andy Kaufman and I am the Intergender Champion. I want to talk to the people of Memphis and to The King’s Court. I like this city but a few changes could make it better especially on your part. Does anyone here know that there are actually stores where you can buy covering for your feet. The coverings are called shoes. I know that shoes and bib overalls won’t look good together but if you wash the overalls at least once every 6 months or a year then you will improve from what you have now. Also while you are out buying some shoes maybe you could go to a General Store and buy some cleanser for your tooth. It is called toothpaste. You can use your finger or buy a small brush to put the paste on your tooth. These are a few of the changes that would help improve the people of Memphis and The King’s Court. My name is Andy Kaufman “Tank U betty much.” The crowd was booing and throwing cups and popcorn at the large TV screen. Jerry “King” Lawler was speechless.

7. Jerry “King” Lawler; Flying Fist Drop Pin over Hacksaw Jim Duggan. During OOR Action Superstar Bill Dundee and The Dream Machine used metal chairs to beat on Hacksaw, who lost valuable points. Then in an unusual finish Dundee and Machine entered the ring with the chairs to beat Hacksaw senseless while Jimmy Hart kept referee Jerry Calhoun distracted. 5:34 As Jerry “King” Lawler left he stood at the top of the ramp surveying the chaos while the stretcher bearers carried Hacksaw from the ring. All of a sudden Jerry was attacked by an unknown wrestler. He had a whip that he used to strangle Lawler. The King was gasping for air when his coolies Dundee and Dream Machine and King Cobra ran to his rescue. The unknown wrestler ran off yelling “You People Mean Nothing to Me.” The gasping Jerry Lawler took the mike. “I will get you Dirty Dutch Mantel. There are not enough hiding places so I will find you and hurt you in the squared circle. And that goes for you too Andy Kaufman.”

8. SOUTHERN HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE – Bobby Duncum (Challenger) pinned Wahoo McDaniel (Champion). Paul Jones slipped Duncum a cutoff rail spike to use as a weapon in his fist for the KO. 6:41 Bobby Duncum is the NEWWWWWWWWWW……….Southern Heavyweight Champion.

5. Shaolin Wrestling Crew (Majic/Suba) beat America’s Most Wanted (Chris Harris/James Storm). Majic pinned Chris Harris in an Unusual Result. During OOR Action America’s Most Wanted got seriously overmanned when Super Beast King Kronic ran to the ring. As the match with Chris Harris and Majic, legal men in the ring, continued referee Chris Sharp was pushing Super Beast from ringside allowing Suba to shove a folded metal chair in the ring on the canvas. A forearm by Suba to Chris Harris’ head dazed him so that Majic could perform a Metal Chair Piledriver. 8:03

7. Ron Killings pinned Ironman Rob Conway. In an Unusual Result Dave Prazak, Conway’s manager, tried to smash a microphone to Killing’s skull but Ron got the mike and used it on Conway. 7:08

8. OHIO VALLEY WRESTLING TITLE (NO DQ or Count-Out) – Bobby Roode; Spear Pin over Tyson Tomko. In an Unusual Result, Tomko had Roode pinned but Tracy Brooks ran in the ring and smooshed a hot fudge sundae, from Hatwood’s Ice Cream of course, into Tyson’s mush. The DQ was waved off, Tracy sent from ringside, and the match continued. Tracy came back to ringside and continued to interfere. During a distraction, Roode hit Tomko with the Spear and got the pin. 7:32 Bobby Roode is the Ohio Valley Champion.

Gilbert Gorsey at the commentator’s table; “ We have had some unusual action tonight. In all my years og announcing I have never seen 4 Unusual Result ending like we had tonight but you saw what happened. The Independent Shaolin Wrestling Crew made a huge impression. They are a mix between the 1980’s The Zambaui Express and Wild Samoans and have the same size. Super Beast King Kronic who interfered on their behalf is about the same size. America’s Most Wanted got way more than they bargained. Bobby Roode has the belt he wanted but his methods are in question. The usual fan hated Tyson Tomko became a fan favorite tonight. How long will that last?”
