- (NWA World Tag Team Championship) Brad Armstrong and Brett Wayne Sawyer defeated The Russians (Ivan Koloff & The Russian Assassin) by disqualification when Assassin nailed Armstrong with the Russian Chain. The Russians retain the titles.

- Ron Shaw pinned Downtown Denny Brown with the Bulldog Headlock.

- Dirty Dutch Mantel pinned Hustler Rip Rogers (w/James J. Dillon) with the Scoop Slam Piledriver.

- (NWA United States Championship) Tommy Rich pinned Rotten Ron Starr (w/James J. Dillon), due to outside interference from Jackie Fargo, who executed a DDT on Starr. Tommy Rich wins the title.

- (Texas Death Match) Jake Roberts (w/Paul Jones) pinned Jerry Brisco with the DDT.

- Jay Youngblood defeated Superstar Bill Dundee (w/James J. Dillon) by disqualification when Dundee nailed Youngblood with a steel chair.

- Magnum TA defeated Tully Blanchard (w/Baby Doll) by disqualification when Blanchard KO’s Referee Tommy Young, then brutally beatened Magnum’s face. As a result, Tully Blanchard has been fined $10,000 by the NWA for putting his hands on NWA Senior Referee Tommy Young. As a result, Magnum TA has injured his face and will be out for 2 weeks. Magnum TA will return on Wednesday, May 29, 1985.

- Last night, Tommy Rich defeated Rotten Ron Starr to win the NWA United States Championship. However, during the end of the match, Jackie Fargo came out and attacked Rotten Ron Starr and nailed Starr with the DDT. In which, Tommy Rich scored to pinfall to win the match and the title. NWA President, Bob Geigel reviewed the footage and has made the ruling, that the NWA United States Championship is to be awarded back to Rotten Ron Starr and the rematch between Starr and Tommy Rich for the title to take place on Saturday night, May 11, 1985 at Charlotte Coliseum in Charlotte, NC, in which Jackie Fargo will be in Tommy Rich’s corner for the match.

- Last night, Tully Blanchard struck for the second time, NWA Senior Referee, Tommy Young. As a result, Tully Blanchard has been fined $10,000 and has been suspended by the NWA for 30 days. Tully Blanchard returns on Saturday, June 8, 1985. The rematch for the Vacant NWA World TV Championship between Dusty Rhodes and Tully Blanchard will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 1985 at Philadelphia Civic Center in Philadelphia, PA.

- Due to the injury to Magnum TA and the suspension of Tully Blanchard, Wahoo McDaniel and Terry Funk have been signed by Jim Crockett Promotions. Wahoo McDaniel’s contract expires on Wednesday, May 29, 1985. Terry Funk’s contract expires on Saturday, June 8, 1985.

- Due to the injury to Thunderbolt Patterson, Jerry Brisco has signed a new contract with Jim Crockett Promotions. Contract expires on Sunday, June 2, 1985.

- Baby Doll has not fulfilled her managerial duties since Tully Blanchard was suspended by the NWA. The NWA has given Baby Doll an ultimatum, in which she has until next Monday, May 29, 1985 to manage a wrestler in JCP, or she’ll be imbreach of contract and she’ll be suspended by the NWA & JCP for 1 year.

- Thunderbolt Patterson has been cleared to wrestle starting Sunday, June 2, 1985.

- Mod Squad (Spike & Basher) and Mr. Wrestling II have been released by Jim Crockett Promotions.

- Buddy Landell and Kendo Nagasaki have signed with Jim Crockett Promotions and both are now managed by James J. Dillon.

- Ali Bey and Hangman Len Kruger have signed with Jim Crockett Promotions.

- Rotten Ron Starr has severed management ties with James J. Dillon and is now teaming with Arn Anderson and are now The Rat Pack.

- Due to the huge falling out with The Andersons, the NWA National Tag Team Championship is not only Vacant, but the titles are now retired.
