The Flying Pig B-B-Q & Hobnob Corner presents;
ICW Wrestling (1980 on WFIC-TV Chan 20
Shawmucky Hall – Freehaven, IN Att: 866

Commentators; Liz Hulette & Joe Dusek
Referees; Sonny Myers & George Hill
Ring; Vincent Laguardia Gambini
Interviews; Mona Lisa Vito

1. The Zodiac; Hidden Foreign Object Pin over Tony “Tiger” Falk. The Zodiak had things going his way from the beginning after rolling on his Cheat Modifier. He used this inspiration of sorts toattack Tony and sling him head first to the floor below. Falk gave it his all in spite of being injured and came close to a pin after a Flying Forearm. The Zodiac used a Cranium Crusher to almost KO Tony and then for good measure had a Hidden Foreign Object he used for a Smash to the Chops. (Note – Barry Orton who wrestled in the WWF as Barry O is under the Zodiak mask. Barry used The Zodiac persona in the WWF in the later 80’s but without a lot of success.) 6:15

2. Bart Batten with Brad and Izzy Slapowitz with Doug Vines and Jeff Sword; No Contest. This match was set up because Izzy interfered in a Batten match last month. Izzy seldom dons the tights but he is capable in the ring. This match never reached the ring. The Batten’s and The Devil’s Duo were fighting at the top of the ramp. They were using mops and pails and whatever they could find to slam into each other. The veteran Referee George Hill knew that this wasn’t going to be solved tonight in the ring so he called for a No Contest. --:--

3. Vivian St John; Vertical Splash Pin over Penny Mitchell. Pennyrefused to go to her scheduled interview with Mona Lisa Vito so Vivian took her place. The results was an excellent interview and promotion giving Vivian extra points. Penny got the early advantage in the match using a Skull Smasher and a Falling Knee to the Throat. Vivian countered with several Flying moves with a Flying Gutbuster being the set-up. Vivian performed a Vertical Splash to get the Pin. 7:53

4. Animal Hamagucci won by DQ over Moose Cholak. Animal tried several moves that simply were frustrating to him because he could not mover Big Moose. The Neckbreaker that is one of Hamagucci’s go to moves was countered by Cholak’s size and power. Animal had a Plan B that no one expected. With Referee George Hill distracted, The Zodiak came from under the ring where he was hiding, grabbed the Moose Head that Cholak wears to the ring and threw it at Hill. Referee Hill wasn’t sure of the culprit so he called for a DQ on Moose. The fans were screaming “Foul” but Hill left the ring. Cholak was beside himself. He grabbed Animal and threw him in the corner. Then Moose gave his call M-M-M-M-O-O-O-O-O and delivered a Splash. The fans were not happy with the DQ but they got what thy wanted from Moose. 6:39

5. Bull Bullinski; Brass Nucks Pin over Leaping Lanny Poffo. The popular Lanny was done in by some UNUSUAL Chart doings. As he was introduced Poffo was surrounded by several women seeking autographs and a few hugs and kisses. Though he received extra points for the attention he was done in in by some chicanery from Bullinski and a disguised J.J. Dillon. Poffo used flying moves to keep Bullinski off stride; Flying Dropkick and a Jumpkick to the Back of the Head. Poffo performed a Top Rope Leap that downed Bull. Dillon disguised as a vendor ran over and placed some Brass Nucks into Bullinski’s hand. Poffo ran over to Bull at the edge of the canvas and was greeted with a Smash to the Chops that KO’d Lanny. Bull pinned the KO’d Poffo. Bullinski left the ring quickly ass the fans threw cups and popcorn at him. 12:27

6. Cowboy Bob Ellis won by DQ over Rip Tyler. Rip was in his usual angry mood as he entered the Hall. He ripped up a few programs and drawing the ire of the fans. They pelted him with Cups and shelled peanuts. Ellis on the other hand is one of the heroes so the fan line was drawn. Tyler tried several moves that were considered cheating so Referee George Hill broke them usually after severe warnings. Ellis was able to counter with Body Breakers and a Running Knee Smash. Tyler got frustrated and bailed from the ring. He re-entered with a Chair. Referee George Hill called for the DQ just as Ellis Dropkicked the Folded Chair into Rip’s mush. The fans were on their feet cheering. 15:43

Pineapple Grange – Pineapple Junction, KY Att: 1,244

Commentators; Angelo Poffo & Peggy Lee Pringle
Referees; Strangler Bob Wagner & Hans Hermann
Ring; Irma Peterson Interviews; Jane Stacy

1. Troy Graham; Swinging Neckbreaker Pin over Colonel Yan Ky. Graham who is half of the successful N.Y. Doll tag team had to avoid the Colonel’s bag of tricks. Yan Ky was able to throw some undetected Salt into Graham’s eyes and followed with some Chops to the neck area but Troy fought it off and used a Wicked Knee Lift to the Groin that had the Colonel screaming. Graham got the pin with the Swinging Neckbreaker. (Troy also wrestles in Memphis under a mask. He is known as The Dream Machine.) 4:23

2. Ratamyus (Billy Howard); Camel Clutch Submission over Mike Doggendorff. Ratamyus was warned about cheating so he used Illegal Chokes that were had to see and Vicious Eye Rakes. Doggendorff came close to a pin after a Top Rope Elbow Smash but Ratamyus was able to get his foot on the ropes. Ratamyus had some Hidden Poison Salve in a plastic bag. He was able to rub some in Mike’s eye’s. Mike’s eyes were burning as he held them blinded. Ratamyus hooked in the Camel Clutch and ended the match. 5:58

3. Spike Huber and Mongolian Tapu with Sputnik Monroe; Double Count-Out. Huber who is half of the Young Lion Tag Title Holders had to fight off Tapu and Sputnik. Sputnik is determined to get his team, The Mongols, a title shot so he will do anything to upset Huber or Spike’s partner Steve Regal. Huber was up against it in this match because Regal had other obligations and couldn’t be in his corner. Spike is very popular and is considered one of the Junction’s own. Huber is from Indianapolis and for people in Kentucky that is home territory. Huber was using a variety of holds to off set Tapu. Sputnik pulled Tapu from the ring and Huber followed. Sputnik and Tapu double teamed Huber with Sputnik grabbing a Chair. He should have been DQ’d but Referee Strangler Bob Wagner’s count reached the limit and the Double Count-Out stood. 9:10

4. Donna Christianello won by Count-Out over Joyce Grable. This was a Main Event style match with two of the very best showing the crowd exciting wrestling with moves of perfection; Running Jackhammer, Flying Legdrop, Missile Dropkicks and Top Rope Body Press. The Match went OOR and unfortunately that where it ended for Joyce. Both wrestlers were headed back to the ring when Peggy Lee Pringle stated fighting with Joyce. Donna was already back in the ring as Referee Hans Hermann’s count reached 10. Donna stepped out of the ring and got into a verbal shouting match with Peggy. Joyce went back to the locker area after telling Peggy that she will meet her in the ring. 12:52

5. Paul Christy; Sunset Flip Pin over Pistol Pez Whatley with Brenda Britton. The fans were yellinbg at Brenda as soon as she entered the arena; “Flea Bag, Flea Bag!!” Brenda was happy though and unfazed because she had a great promotional interview with Jane Stacy and Whatley had extra points added to his total. Pistol Pez isd one third of the Convertible Blond team with Hustler Rip Rogers and Gary Royal. They are managed by Brenda and are hunting for gold. During the match Christy hit Whatley with a Flying Missile. Brenda tried to spray Oven Cleaner to Christy’s eyes but missed and hit Pistol Pez. Christy took advantage and used a Sunset Flip Pin. 13:21

6. Ox Baker and Kareem Mohammed with J.J. Dillon; Double Count-Out. Kareem seemed to have it going his way after rolling on the size modifier. After adding a few hundred points he chased Ring Announcer Irma Peterson from the ring. This added even more points giving Dillon and Kareem exactly what they wanted. This was not a match of fineness and very few legitimate moves were used. The match went OOR after Kareem tried to Splash Ox in the corner and hit Dillon instead. Dillon was flat on the canvas as the two big men fought into the Food Court and destroyed it. Angelo Poffo called on all the wrestlers in the Locker Room to help break up the brawl. They did so very cautiously. 10:29

Referees; Sid Nabors & Cowboy Pat Fraley
Ring; Breathless Mahoney Interviews; George Vessichio

1. Phil Hickerson with Tojo Yammamoto beat David Oswald. Hickerson used some rough moves pushing Oswald around the ring. Phil caught David’s head in the Ropes and used to Choke him until Referee Sid Nabors broke it up. Oswald was gasping for air while Nabors was warning Hickerson. Tojo Yammamoto took advantage of the distraction and slammed a Kendo Stick to David’s head. The blood gushed out as Hickerson used a falling Head Slam and went for the Pin. Referee Nabors ruled the match over because of Too Much Blood. 3:09

2. The Ridge Runners (Hoot Gibson and Big Boy Williams) won by DQ over Gypsy Joe & Scorpion (Gypsy Joe and Scorpion Pat Hutchinson). This was a fairly even match with the action back and forth. Gypsy Joe, not known to hold his temper, lost control when Gibson had Hutchinson in trouble. Hoot used a Hoot n’ Holler Bulldog on Scorpion. Gypsy immediately grabbed a Chair and headed in the ring. He pushed Referee Cowboy Pat Fraley aside and slammed the Chair over Hoot’s head. Big Boy Williams entered the ring to save Hoot and attacked Gypsy. Fraley called the match and awarded the win to The Ridge Runners. Gypsy and Scorpion stormed off toward the locker room. 10:46

3. Judy Martin won by Count-Out over Princess Victoria. Martin heard the boos and had some peanuts and popcorn thrown at her. She responded with a finger gesture. Judy had to be happy with the extra points on her total. The even match eventually went OOR where the cunning Judy usually has a few surprises. She didn’t disappoint. Hiding in the stands was Leilani Kai dress as a old woman. When the Princess tried to get back to the ring Leilani tripped her with an umbrella. Princess Victoria hit he head and was dazed. Judy Martin slipped back in the ring. Referee Sid Nabors didn’t see the infraction. 8:18

4. Cocoa Samoa; Superfly Smash Pin over Family Vice President Chick Donovan with Jimmy Hart. This was a sort of feud match because Jimmy Hart has been trying to enlist Cocoa into the family. So far Cocoa has refused. Donovan showed some pretty good moves and almost had a Pin after a Throat Drop onto Ropes and a Flying Legdrop. Jimmy Hart tried to interfere after Cocoa used a Slingshot Catapult on Chick. Jimmy swung his Megaphone at Cocoa but hit Donovan. Cocoa climbed the Ropes and performed a Superfly Smash that got the pin. 10:45

5. Lord Jonathan Boyd with Butch Miller; Brainbuster Pin over The Masked Grappler. Boyd and Miller had a great interview with George Vessichio. Their excellent promotion earned Boyd points on his total although George felt that The Sheepherders team is a bit scary. Vessichio gave then a dozen Cannoli that Butch began eating immediately. Boyd used every dirty move possible without getting himself DQ’d although most thought he should have. The Masked Grapper (thought to be Steve Dalton) bailed from the ring only to have Butch Throw him into the Steel Steps then Hit him with the Flag Pole. The Masked Grappler struggled back into the ring to disaster. Butch was able to slip a Folded Steel onto the Ring Canvas and Boyd performed a Brainbuster. It was enough to gain the pin. 7:40

6. Jimmy “Boogie” Valiant won by DQ over Nature Boy Buddy Landell with Jimmy Cornette. The Boogie Man had the usual dancing entrance to the music “Boy from NYC” by The Manhattan Transfer. Boogie stopped to see George Vessichio and get some Cannoli. Then he stopped to see MKABear giving him a High Five. The match went as expected but with UNUSUAL CHART results. Buddy Landell was holding his own with a little help; tripping, etc, from Jimmy Cornette. Jimmy tried to use his Tennis Racket for a Smash to Valiant’s Skull. Jimmy was quick on the reaction and grabbed it from Cornette. Referee Cowboy Pat Fraley turned to see Jimmy with the Tennis Racket and called for the DQ. Referee Sid Nabors at ringside came in the ring and told Fraley what he saw. Fraley reversed his decision giving Valiant the DQ win. Cornette was livid as the fans cheered. 9:35

Referees: Scrappy McGowan & Dreamboat Art Walge
Ring; Christy Cummings
Interviews; “The Voice” Artie Decker

1. Wild Bill Ash with Downtown Bruno; Head Rammer to Post Pin over John Boy Ruffin. Ash, one of the roughest wrestlers who will break every rule, wasn’t about to have any mercy for John Boy who is a virtual newcomer. Ash used Grind Face to Mat, Vicious Choke Hold and Foot Stomp to Head to wear down Ruffin. Wild Bill carried the match longer than necessary punishing John Boy. Finally a HGead Rammer to the Post was more than enough to KO the rookie. Wild Bill had no choice but to make the pin. 5:24

2. Kendo Nagasaki with Oliver Humperdink; Samurai Spin Kick Pin over Mike Fever. Kendo heard some cheers as he entered the house but he was only deducted half the points because Mike Fever is not exactly a fair player. In fact Mike has been known to use a rough style against opponents and will break the rules. Fever was able to perform a Knee Drop to the Throat that had Kendo dazed but Mike wasted time flexing to the crowd and when he turned to the action Nagasaki Spit Green Mist blinding Fever. The Samurai Spin Kick was enough to get the pin. 4:53

3. The Spoiler II with Percy Pringle won by Count-Out over Rocky Jones. Jones had a sure pin after performing a Savate Kick but Percy Pringle was able to distract Referee Scrappy McGowan. The Spoiler II kicked Jones from the ring. Spoiler II is more in his element OOR. He performed a Grind Face to Steel Steps and then threw Rocky into the Press Table. Spoiler II turned the Press Table over with Rocky under. Spoiler II made it back to the ring but Rocky was unable and got Counted-Out. 11:07

4. Jumping Joe Savoldi; Flying Body Press Pin over Blond Bomber Art Crews. Crews tried to riled the fans by screaming loud as he came down the aisle. The fans were not reacting so Crews tore up a few programs. Savoldi came down to the aisle and performed a Jumping Spin Kick on Crews. Referee Dreamboat Art Walge called for the match to start. The action eventually got back to the ring where Crews used a Vicious Choke Hold and then a Falling Cranium Crusher that seemed to have him in charge. Savoldi used speed and flying moves as he fought back. Several High Flying Dropkicks had Crews reeling and then the Flying Body Press got the pin. 9:52

5. Rotten Ron Starr with Peaches and Scott McGhee; Double Count-Out. Starr rolled on his Cheat Modifier and immediately had the advantage. Referee Scrappy McGowan saw a Foreign Object on Peaches and sent her back to the Locker Area. McGhee used his speed to offset Starr’s rougher style. The frustrated Starr was in and out of the ring as he tried to avoid the High Flying moves. A Crushing Clothesline by Starr sent McGhee over the ropes to the floor. Starr bailed from the ring expecting to beat down McGhee but Scott held his own and in fact Dropkicked Rotten Ron over the barrier into the 1st row. The time ran out for both wrestlers as the fans cheered for McGhee. 10:48

6. Killer Karl Kox beat King Konga. Killer Karl put on his usual show of talking to his imaginary friend. His unusual ways had King Konga confused but Konga used some power moves that wore Kox down. Just when it looked like King Konga would put Karl down for good, Kox smashed Konga in the head with “Lar’s Money Bag.” Konga started to bleed from a pretty nasty cut. King Konga used a Diving Head Butt that had Kox down for keeps but Referee Dreamboat Art Walge saw the gash on Konga opened and was spewing blood. Walge called for the match to end for Too Much Blood. 11:09

Ring Announcer; Cookie Fleck Interviews; Gerry Fleck

1. The Dream (Mike Davis) with Maya Singh and Dave Barbie; Double Count-Out. The Dream and Maya Singh gained points for chasing Cookie Fleck from the ring. The fans began booing and booing even more than when the Army of Darkness members were introduced. Cookie is very popular after capturing the Blue Ribbon with her dog Winkie at the Mayflower Dog Show. Cookie and Gerry Fleck have become celebrities in Florida. The action in the ring was short lived as both wrestlers bailed. This was exactly what The Dream wanted and not what Barbie needed. Time ran out as The Dream and Maya Singh were beat on the helpless Dave. Maya Singh was formally Bob Roop before joining Kevin Sullivan’s band of weirds. 4:02

2. Abudadein with Luna & The Lock won by Count-Out over Tommy Angel. During OOR action Tommy had to fight off Abudadien, Luna and The Lock. Luna struck the ending blow with a Fire Extinguisher Smash that KO’d Tommy. Referee Krusher Al Korman was trying to send The Lock to the back stage during this action. Abudadien slipped back into the ring and acted like he was innocent. Note; Abudadein has the most influence on having Jake Roberts start bringing snakes to the ring. Abudadein was know as The Snakeman who brought a bag of snakes to ringside and both he and Jake were in the Army of Darkness although Abudadein had a less than stellar wrestling career. 5:12

3. Brad Armstrong won by DQ over Pat Rose with Downtown Bruno. Rose and his tag partner attacked Brad while he was being interviewed by Gerry Fleck. Ash slammed a Flood Lamp to Brad’s leg seriously hurting him. Brad chose to wrestle the match but was limited in his usual aerial moves and speed. In spite of the injury Brad was controlling the match and after performing a Falling Head Crusher, Rose was in trouble. Wild Bill Ash stormed the ring with a Folded Steel Chair. Referee Buddy Colt immediately called the match. 6:53

4. Eric Embry; Neckbreaker Pin over Kharma Molikai with The Dream and Maya Singh. Kharma seemed to be in control and nearly got a pin after a backward Head Slam and a Guillotine Leg Drop. Embry, who has changed his attitude though the fans still don’t trust him, fought back with a Flying Knee Smash that had Kharma dazed. The Dream tried to hit Embry with a bottle but only managed to whack Kharma across the forehead. Embry immediately hooked in a Neckbreaker that got the pin. 9:36

5. Crazy & Bugsy (Crazy Luke Graham & Bugsy McGraw with Percy Pringle and Frankie Laine & Tony Anthony; Double DQ. This was a match where the fans got what they expected. It was reduced to a OOR battle what any and everything not nailed down. Tables, Chairs, Trash Cans, TV Equipment & various vendor foods were thrown. Somehow Frankie Laine found a Pie and mushed it into Bugsy’s face. When Buddy Colt called for the Double DQ Crazy Luke and Bugsy acted as though they were being mistreated. 10:32

6. Jesse Barr and Jerry Oates; Time Limit Draw. Barr who is angry about his having been removed from the Top 10 on the Wrestling News Magazine refused an interview with Gerry Fleck so Jerry Oates took the interview and was very successful in the promotion. The extra points awarded was just what he needed. Barr when introduced came into the arena with a Fake Florida Championship Belt. He was copying Terry Funk who uses a fake NWA Belt. When questioned about the belt, Jesse said that it actually represented So. Florida. The head referee Buddy Colt got in the ring and announced that he had no knowledge of a So. Florida Belt but if it was real then it would be a title match. Jesse was livid; “It is mine and I am not giving it up.” The match was fairly even until Jesse pulled out a Hidden Foreign Object. After a few smashed to Oates mid-section Jesse took control. He performed a Running Clothesline and a Knee to the mid-section. Jess had Jerry lined up for a Corner Splash but missed and crashed into the Post. The tide changed and now it was Jerry who took charge. A Fling Missile and a Slingshot Catapult would have gotten the pin but at the 2 count the bell rang for a Draw. When Jesse went to get his belt Buddy Colt told him that he was holding it to check out the legitimacy. Barr left the arema in a foul mood. 15:00

1. Soul Train Jones; K.O. Punch Pin over Bob Rusty Riddle. Riddle was arguing with the fans on his way to the ring and then took objection to their warm welcome to Soul Train. Riddle answer was to punch his fist in the air and show his disproval with mouth gestures. Riddle was able to gain an edge with a Double Ax Handle but when he tried a Suicide Jump from the Turnbuckle he crashed to the canvas. Soul Train used a Top Rope Dropkick to set up the K.O. Punch on Rusty who was totally dazed. 6:09

2. The Great Kabuki with Sir Oliver Humperdink; Thrust Kick Pin over Ron Shaw. Humperdink only interfered with a distraction once but it was enough. He Spit Green Mist into Shaw’s face and then used a Trust Kick for the finisher. 3:13

3. Eric the Red; Bear Hug Submission over Len Denton. Eric was all dressed in his Viking’s suit with a Horned Helmet. He growled a bit and stomped around the ring. Denton showed some good moves in trying to confuse the Viking during the match. Len who is a rookie has been showing that he belongs. Denton used a Flying Leg Drop that appeared to hurt Eric who will play possum. When Denton went up the top rope for another High Flying move Eric caught Len in mid-air and used a Crushing Body Slam. Denton got to his feet only to be caught in a Bear Hug that spelled curtains. 4:51

4. Cyclone Negro won by DQ over Jimmy Golden with Brenda Britton. The fans began chanting ; “Flea Bag, Flea Bag” as soon as Jimmy and Brenda entered the arena. The clever Jimmy performed an Eye Rake and a Bucksnort Head Basher that had Cyclone dazed. Cyclone was able to fight back and turn the tide. The match seemed all but over when Cyclone performed as Jumping Piledriver that is curtains to opponents. Robert Fuller came running to the ring and entered to break up the pin. Brenda tried to distract but Referee Dick Raines saw Fuller and called for the DQ. 10:26

5. The Mod Squad (Spike and Basher) with J.D. Costello were awarded the match against The Rocky’s (Jones and King). The match was fairly even although it took a lot of patience on Referee Doug Smith’s part. First Spike, then Basher kept bailing from the ring to break up The Rocky’s even flow game. Finally Rocky Jones caught Basher with a Savate Kick. Rocky King tagged in only to be greeted by Spike who had a Hidden Sharp Object. Rocky King got cut and the blood was flowing from the wound. Referee Doug Smith wisely called the match. 12:47

6. Robert Fuller with Brenda Britton won by Count-Out over Mighty Igor. Fuller who is always dangerous with his Loaded Boot used it a few times when Igor was downed. Fuller followed with Knee Drops the Head but couldn’t get the pin. Igor caught Fuller in a Boston Crab and it looked like light’s out. Brenda was able to distract Referee Dick Raines while Jimmy Golden ran to the ring and broke up the hold. Igor bailed from the ring and chased Brenda and Jimmy who stopped to fight with Igor. Time ran out and Fuller got the win. It was exactly what he wanted. 11:59

J.R. eventually bailed from the ring and hit Matsuda with a Trash Can. Mr. Ito left the ring to help his manager. Both wrestlers became victims of Referee Steve Brody’s count. 5:22

2. Maya Singh with The Dream; Skull Crusher Pin over Tommy Lane. Maya was helped by rolling on his Cheat Modifier that added point to his total. 4. New York Rocker Al Perez; Top Rope Dropkick Pin over Intercontinental Nobleman Joe Turko. Turko heard cheers from a group of fans. This cost Joe some points. The Nobleman seems to have a small following because of his antics. Joe had some sand or some type of foreign substance hidden in his boot. After throwing it into Al’s eyes, Turko tried a pin using the Ropes as Leverage. He was caught. Perez wasted no time in hitting Joe with a Slingshot Clothesline. Perez climbed the top rope and used a Top Rope Dropkick to put Turko away. 7:04

Pogo lost points for his Main Event match with Graham later in the card.

Armstrong started quicly using Missile Dropkicks to gain the advantage. Sullivan frustrated at watching Steve handle to veteran Curtis, handed the King a Sharp Object. Iaukea immediately used it to slash Steve in the forehead causing blood to flow down his face blinding him. King Curtis used a Double Throat Thrust to put Armstrong down and gain the Pin. 8:08

5. Bad LeRoy Brown and Butcher Brannigan; Double DQ. Everyone knew that scientific moves were non-existent for this match. Bad LeRoy was a crowd pleaser who would sign autographs for the fans. He added points to his total by interacting with the crowd. Brannigan on the other hand was his usual disgruntled self but he would always be bring his A game in the ring. The wrestlers used a lot of punching, body slams and even biting trying to gain the advantage. After fighting OOR both re-entered the ring with chairs. Referee Jimmy McGuire had enough and called the match a Double DQ. 10:14

Unfortunately for Pogo it blinded him and Mike Graham too advantage with the Olympic Roll-Up for the Pin. 11:36

1. Hector Guerrero; Underhook Suplex Pin over Alaskan Hunter Dale Veasey. Veasey did what he could to gain an advantage. He ripped the cover off the turnbuckle and slammed Hector’s forehead into to exposed metal. Guerrero was bleeding and blinded from the flowing blood when the Alaskan threw him head first to the floor below. Somehow Hector was able to crawl back in the ring. Veasey was complaining to Referee Angelo Martinelli to stop the match because of Guerrero’s blood. It was ruining his (Veasey’s) get-up. Bugsy turned and slammed it over Gorgeous Jimmy’s head. Jimmy crumpled to the canvas as Referee Bill Miller called for the DQ. He won the war today. 8:46

5. The Midnight Rider; Bionic Elbow Pin over Ivan Koloff with Nikita Koloff. There has been a lot of speculation to the identity of the Midnight Rider. Some of the better guesses have been; President Ronald Reagan, Sylvester Stallone, Elvis Presley (who really didn’t die), Robert Di Niro and even Don Vito Corleone. The Rider is a 300 lb. wrestler who can handle himself in Championship fashion. Since Dusty Rhodes has been suspended everyone knows it could not be him. Everyone knows that Dusty would respect the suspension. The Midnight Rider was interviewed prior to the match because Ivan refused to do his scheduled promotional interview. The Rider was awarded extra points. During the match the Rider kept Ivan off balance and lashed out at Nikita who was continually trying to interfere. 5. Big Bubba Rogers with Jim Cornette won by Count-Out over Michael P.S. Hayes with Jimmy Garvin. This is a continuation of a feud that started when Big Bubba, Cornette’s Bodyguard, interfered and stopped a pin of Hayes over Midnight Express’ Dennis Condrey. Hayes had Big Bubba reeling from several quick moves and a Spin Kick. Hayes used a Purly Sexy DDT that would have gotten a pin but Jim Cornette was able to smash his tennis racket over Michael’s head while Referee Tommy Weathers was distracted by Dennis Condrey who came to ringside. Hayes got frustrated and chased Cornette up the aisle to the backstage area. Jimmy Garvin was at ringside fighting with Condrey. 11:36

Teijo would let up and even kicked Tommy Angel in the groin when he tried to save his Carolina TNT partner. Colonel Ted Hopkins called for the DQ and for security to stop Khan. 6:11

2. Crazy Luke Graham and Rocky King; No Contest. The wrestlers were fighting in the Locker Room and all the way to the ring. Crazy Luke who teams with Bugsy McGraw in the Florida area was screaming that he wants to face The Rocky’s (King and Jones) in the ring and settle their feud. 0:00

3. Bobby Eaton with Jim Cornette; Alabama Jam Pin over Bret Wayne. Cornette did a snow job on this match claiming that he would not interfere but he proved himself a fibber. 1. Mark Fleming won by DQ over Dirty Dutch Mantel. Mantel, as usual, had a nasty attitude and showed it by tipping over the Press Table on his way to the ring. He was awarded extra points for keeping up his heel persona. The match had very little standard moves although Fleming tried to show moves that resembled a wrestling match. The action went OOR where Mantel enjoys that surroundings. Dutch used a Trash Can to smash over Mark’s back and then choked him out with “Shoo Baby.” Referee Sonny Fargo was trying to follow the action and count. His count reached 10 and he called for a Double Count-Out. Referee Handsome Jonny Berend who was at ringside conferred with Sonny who then called the match a DQ against Mantel. Mantel stomped around and said some words to Berend but thought better and retreated to the Locker Area. 4:09

Sawyer used a Battering Ram and then a Powerslam to get the Pin. 9:33

5. Sweet Stan Lane with Jim Cornette; Too Much Blood win over Brads Armstrong. Lane chose to bail from the ring after Armstrong came close to ending the match with a Diving Cross Body. Brad followed Sweet Stan OOR and it was a mistake. Cornette distracted Referee sonny Fargo and Dennis crondrey came to ringside and used the Gong Bell over Brad’s skull. They were both throwing Chirs, Trash Cans, tipping over table, and even took turns whacking the Gong-Bell at each other. When Referee Sam Diamond, who had been more than liberal in this rukus, got hit by a thrown Trash Can he called for the Double DQ. 5:31

2. Moose Cholak won by DQ over Gorgeous Gary Royal with Brenda Britton. Royal who is 1/3 of the Convertible Blonds Tag Team was greeted with silence but when Brenda Britton was introduced it brought on the chants of “Flea Bag.” Gary resorted to illegal moves to try and control the 375 lb Moose. In defense of Diamond his arm was wrapped with a bandage because of a very bad bruise. During the action OOR Gentleman Jerry, who is far from a Gentleman, used a Folded Metal Chair over Big Boy Williams’ Head. The Valiant’s responded with; “Liar, Liar.” 7:26

4. Hustler Rip Rogers with Brenda Britton and Mike Doggendorff; Double Count-Out. Brenda head the “Flea Bag” chants again. The odd thing is that Brenda has been on the most hated list and the most liked list in ICW/WWA at the same time. The fans like to raze her yet at the same time she would be missed if she left the Federation. During the match The Hustler used his speed to gain an advantage but Brenda was unable to stay away from the action. She tripped Doggendorff who immediately bailed from the ring and chased Brenda up the ramp. Roger’s fearing for Brenda if caught followed Mike. The sounds of Brooms, Mops and Pails from the outer corridor indicated that the custodian equipment was being used as weapons as Rogers and Doggendorff brawled. They were both Counted-Out. 4:43

Animal used a Neckbreaker Drop and a Skull Crusher that seemed to be enough to get the pin but the veteran Christy found a way to avoid the pin. In retaliation Christy performed an Elbow Smash and then a Slingshot Catapult. The Sunset Flip finished Hamagucci as Christy got the Pin. 12:46

6. Poffo/Weingeroff (Lanny and George beat The Zamboui Express (Kareem Muhammed and Elijah Akeem). The Express used their size difference to their advantage, doubleteaming for Splashes and Slams. Lanny and George countereded with aerial moves that had the Express confused. J.J. Dillon sensing problems tried to help by swinging a Bottle of Jack Daniels at George Weingernoff. Dillon managed to hit Elijah Akeem in the forehead. Elijah crumpled to the canvas. Lanny Poffo got the Pin after a Sommersault Drop. Dillon swung at the wrong legal man. 14:52

1. Rick “The Dog” McGraw won by DQ over Colonel Yan Ky. The Colonel attacked Rick before the match slamming a Trash Can over The Dog’s back. The loss of points seriously hurt McGraw who was left to fight an uphill battle. Just when all seemed lost for Rick, Animal Hamagucci who was being interviewd turned to see the action and reacted by running to ringside and interfering by slugging McGraw. Referee Jim Davis had enough and called for a DQ against Yan Ky. The Colonel protested that he had nothing to do with Hamagucci but the decision was final. 5:45

2. Bull Bullinski; Knee Drop to Chest Pin over The Zodiak. Bullinski who is generally considered a rougher style wrestler heard cheers because he was facing the hated Zodiak. Bullinski had points added because it was assumed that the cheers were for the more likable wrestler. Bull didn’t disappoint but he had to fight off The Zodiak’s Hidden Foreign Object that was used as a wear down with slugging to the ribs (It was a piece of metal wrapped in tape). The Zodiak had a 2 x 4 OOR and he triwed to use it on Bull. The move got reversed and The Zodiak was in trouble after Bullinski used the 2 x 4 on Zodiak’s ribcage. After ramming Zodiak’s Head to the Post, Bull threw the villain into the ring and used a Knee Drop to the Chest for the Pin. (The Zodiak’s identity is in question. Many people think that it is Bob Orton, Sr. under the mask). 6:21

3. Thunderbolt Patterson and Ratamyus; Double Count-Out. Ratamyus had a great interview and was awarded points although most consider him scary. The match was not pretty with both wrestlers using rough moves to gain an edge. During OOR action Ratamyus used a TV monitor to smash Thunderbolt in the head drawing blood. As Ratamyus tried to return to the ring, Thunderbolt used a TV Cord to Choke him. Both wrestlers were tangled in the cords when Referee Jim Davis’ count reached 10. 7:33

4. The Batten Brothers (Brad and Bart) beat The Devil’s Duo (Doug Vines and Jeff Sword) with Izzy Slapowitz. Bart Batten; Top Rope Press over Doug Vines. During the heat of the action with Doug Vines and Brad Batten in the ring, Izzy distracted Referee Emmett Couch while Jeff ran in and tried to use a Jawbreaker on Brad. Brad ducked and Doug took the punch square on the jaw. Bart had climbed the ropes and used a Top Rope Press on Doug Vines who was being held up by Brad. The Batten’s got the Pin. Izzy Slapowitz tried desperately to Throw a Fireball but the Fireball blew up in his face. 12:42

5. Pistol Pez Whatley with Brenda Britton won by Count-Out over Ox Baker. During the match that was controlled by Ox, Gary Royal and Hustler Rogers wandered to ringside. Brenda used a Spray from a can of oven cleaner to temporarily blind Ox. Gary reached in the ring and tripped the big man. Ox bailed from the ring and started fighting with Royal and Rogers. Whatley who had been thrown head first to the floor from the ring was able to recover enough to crawl back in the ring. Ox continued to fight OOR and he was Counted-Out. The fighting continued up the ramp and the the back stage. 6:14

6. Randy Savage with Brenda Britton and Rugged Ronnie Garvin; No Contest. The match went back and forth for a while with Savage gaining an edge by using a Double Rope Burn and a wear down Neck Hold. Rugged Ronnie was able to counter with an Iris Whip Clothesline and a Slingshot Suplex. The action went OOR where both wrestlers held their own. Then everything went haywire with The Convertable Blonds (Huster Rogers, Gary Royal) still fighting Ox Baker. The Brawl came down the ramp and Randy Savage and Rugged Ronnie got involved when they were push and slugged. It was chaos. Referee Jim Davis called for a No Contest at 6:05

7. ICW/WWA Tag Team Title – The Manchurians (Tio andTapu) (Challengers) with Sputnik Monroe beat The Young Lions (Steve Regal and Spike Huber) (Champions). An early attack by Sputnik with a Chair left Huber injured for the match but he did the best he could. In spite of Spike’s injury The Lions held their own although Steve Regal was getting worn down from carrying most of the match. Tio and Tapu worked well as a team and finally had their moment. Tapu spit Green Mist into Regal’s face then used an Asian Spike to the Throat then Tio followed with a Chop and Thrust and got the Pin. The Manchurians are the NNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWW ICW/WWA Champions. 18:11

1. Rip Tyler; Legdrop Pin over Tony “Tiger” Falk. Tony had a following and heard some cheers. Rip, on the other hand, is all business so he ignores the fans and vice versa. Rip used his rough style to wear down Tony; Choke on the Guard Rail & Slam to the Steps OOR. Tony countered by Grinding Rip’s face into the mat much to the fans delight. A Jawbreaker set up the Legdrop that got Tyler the Pin over Tony. 4:26

2. VP Chick Donovan with Jimmy Hart and Chief Thundercloud; Double Count-Out. Chick the Vice President of The Family and his leader The Mouth of the South stood in the middle of the ring and sang “We are Family” as the fans booed. Donovan has been promoting this match as his Figure Four vs the Chief’s Indian Deathlock. Chick has become one of the most hated wrestlers in Mid-South. The match didn’t go well for Chick so luckily he had Jimmy Hart in his corner. The Chief used war Dance Chops to wear down Chick and then applied the Indian Death Lock. It would have been curtains but Jimmy Hart used a can of 3 in 1 Oil to squirt a stream in the Chief’s face. Donovan bailed from the ring and the Chief’s followed after wiping off the Oil from his eyes. He was greeted with a Mega-Phone Smash by Donovan while Jimmy distracted Referee Tommy Sloan. Both wrestlers were Counted-Out after failing to get back in the ring before the ten count. The arrogant Chick was yelling at the Chief; “You want more! There’s plenty more to come.” 6:12

3. Bobby Fulton won by DQ over Tojo Yammamoto with Masha Fuchi. Bobby is very popular and received extra points for the big ovation as he entered the arena. During the match Fulton used aerial moves that had Tojo frustrated and off balance. Tojo was able to apply an Asian Spike and almost was DQ’d when he wouldn’t let up on the Illegal move. Bobby hit Tojo with a Flying Body Press and then climbed the Ropes for a 450° Senton. Masa Fuchi jumped in the ring with a Kendo Stick intending to save his House of the Orient Leader. Referee T.D. Steele called for the DQ. 6:03

4. Bugsy McGraw; Running Splash Pin over Dr. Bill Irwin. The strange doctor entered the ring dressed in a White Doctor’s Coat and had a Stethoscope around his neck. He carries a Black case that may have sleeping drug. He tried to Hypnotize Bugsy as McGraw stood in the corner but everyone knew that Bugsy’s skull was too think to penetrate. Frustrated, the Doctor rushed Bugsy who threw Irwin head first to the floor below. After re-entering the ring Irwin tried to fight back and managed an Anesthesia DDT but Bugsy wasn’t fazed. A Double Knee Thrust by McGraw set up Irwin for a Corner Running Splash and the Pin. 7:41

5. The Bounty Hunters (Jerry and Dave Novak) with Cashbox Jim Kent won by Count-Out over Eaton/Ware (Bobby and Koko). Things looked bad for The Hunters after Dave Novak was serious cut from a Head Slam to the Steel Steps. Dave was bleeding enough to get blinded by the flow of blood into his eyes. Jerry Novak had to carry the load. He immediately got in trouble and was set up for a pin by a Flying Headbutt by Koko and a Alabama Slam by Eaton. Cashbox Kent reached in the ring to break up the pin by Eaton on Jerry. Koko was bailing from the ring and ran over to confront Cashbox. Dave Novak smashed the Gong-Bell over Koko’s head. Referee T.D. Steel counted Koko out. Bobby Eaton who had Pinned Jerry Novak was at Koko side OOR. The Bounty Hunters were awarded the win by Count-Out while Eaton tried to explain that he was the legal man. Koko was taken out on a stretcher. 16:34

6. Eddie Gilbert with Miss Peggy Lee and Superstar Bill Dundee; Double DQ. This was an ugly Brawl. Miss Peggy Lee got into the action when she threw a Marble Slab Milk Shake at the Superstar hitting both Dundee and Gilbert. The action went OOR where both wrestlers shared slams to the Guard Rail and the Steps. Gilbert found a metal post under the ring and Dundee found a Hammer. After re-entering the ring Referee Tommy Sloan had seen enough and called for a Double DQ. 12:08

7. Steel Cage – The Prince of Wales Tony Charles Pin and Escape win over The Duke of Manchester Billy Robinson. Charles is now hearing cheers while Robinson is hearing the boos. Charles association with Jimmy “Boogie” Valiant has brought the fans and Robinson is chummy with Exotic Adrian Street and Miss Linda. During the match Billy was able to gain an advantage by Raking Tony’s face along the Cage Wall drawing blood. Tony used more scientific moves; Knee Drops and Flying Body Presses. Eventually both wrestlers climbed the wall. Billy had a Foreign Object that he used to try and hit Tony in the chomps. Billy missed and was off balance when Tony threw Billy from the Cage Top crashing to the canvas. Charles pinned Billy and climbed the wall to victory. 18:48

Referees; Sid Nabors & Larry Hamilton
Ring; Teaser Combs & Kent “Flounder” Dorfman

1. Apocalypse (Dr. Tom Pritchard unmasked); Figure Four Submission over Heartbreaker Rocky Sortor. Apocalypse came to the ring in his usual foul mood. He proceeded to dump over the Press Table and head for the Commentator’s Table. Boogie Valiant wanted to put an end to this nonsense and got in a shouting match with Apocalypse. As Apocalypse turned to head to the ring rather than be DQ’d, Boogie reached and yanked his mask. It fell to the ground and revealed Apocalypse to be Tom Pritchard brother of Ring Announcer Bruce Pritchard and wrestler Chris Pritchard. Pritchard has been seen with Jim Cornette who refers to Tom as the women’s Doctor of Desire. During the match Rocky was thrown into a state of confusion by facing a totally different wrestler than expected. Pritchard took advantage and controlled the match. He set up the Figure Four with a Flying Body Press. 4:23

2. Precious Paul Ellering won by Count-Out over The Mongolian Stomper. This was a Brawl with most of the action OOR. Actually it started with The Stomper smashing a tray over Ellering’s head After the action went OOR The Stomper used the Steel Steps to throw at Precious Paul who countered by Choking The Stomper on the Guard Rail. In soite of his injury from the thrown steps, Paul was able to get a Metal Chair and smash it over The Stomper’s Head. The Stomper was dazed and he waked up the ramp to the backstage not sure of where he was going. Ellering re-entered the ring just in time to get the Count-Out win. 7:56

3. Randy Rose won by DQ over Outlaw Ron Bass with J.J. Dillon. Randy used his superior speed to gain the advantage against the Outlaw. After a Swinging Neckbreaker Bass was in trouble. J.J. Dillon was not about to let his Cowboy lose on a pin so he entered the ring and hit Randy with a Bottle of Jack Daniels. Bass was DQ’d but the action didn’t end. Bass and Dillon started beating on Rose. The Zamboui Express of Kareem Muhammed and Elijah ran on the scene. Norvell Austin and Dennis Condrey of the Midnight Express ran out to help Randy Rose. Kimala ran out and added himself to the Brawl. The Midnight Express was outweighed but not out fought. Several wrestlers from the locker area ran out to help restore order but it seemed useless. Jerry Jarrett at ringside finally got order when he showed J.J. Dillon some papers that we can only assume were contracts that would be broken if the action continued. Dillon called off his stable. 6:15

4. Dirty Don Fargo; Brass Nucks Pin over Steve Keirn. Keirn had the advantage but Fargo had the weapons. After Steve used a Spinning Kick and a Falling Head Slam on Fargo Don retaliated with a Wicked Punch to the midsection with a Loaded Glove. Keirn sunk to the canvas as Fargo pulled out Hidden Brass Nucks. A slug to the chops had Keirn KO’d but for Fargo that wasn’t enough. He used the Ropes for Leverage to get the Pin. Referee Larry Hamilton who got sandwiched in a collision was out of place and could not see the multiple infractions. 9:34

5. The Masked Super Destroyer with Jimmy Hart and VP Chick Donovan pinned Stan “Plowboy” Frazier. The popular Frazier from Pascagoula, MS received a loud ovation angering the Super Destroyer who was shaking his forearm and fist at the crowd. VP Chick Donovan followed suit while Jimmy Hart called the fans “Losers.” The Masked Super Destroyer is not known although it is widely assumed that the once popular Big Bill Dromo is under the mask. Plowboy had an interview before the match with MKA Bear that was outstanding. He received extra points on his total causing Hart and Donovan some concern. After a Steamroller and a Big Leg Drop it seemed curtains for the Destroyer. Jimmy Hart was able to distract Referee Sid Nabors and VP Chick Donovan ran in the ring and slammed Hart’s megaphone over Plowboy’s skull. Donovan was able to place the Destroyer’s body over Frazier’s. Nabors turned to see the action and counted the Pin. 8:11

6. Exotic Adrian Street with Miss Linda won by Count-Out over Terry Taylor. The popular Taylor was up against the Strange Adrian from London England. Though basically a heel Exotic Adrian has a following of curious fans especially women who are taken by his Gorgeous George style. During the match Taylor had the upper hand and after a Flying Leg Drop Terry should have had the Pin. Miss Linda was able to reach Adrian’s leg and place it on the rope. As Terry got up Miss Linda sprayed Black Flag to his eyes. Terry, barely able to see bailed from the ring chasing Miss Linda. Exotic Adrian remained in the ring and accepted the Count-Out win. 13:02

7. Nebraska Bull Rope Match – Lumberjack Jos LeDuc beat Killer Karl Krupp. The Killer who is a member of Jimmy Hart’s Family was not allowed anyone in his corner although Jimmy and Vice President Chick Donovan were behind a protective wire barrier preventing them from getting to the ring. The Nebraska Bull Rope Match allows a Rope and a Cowbell that can be used as weapons. They are tied to the Ring Post. As expected this match was a Slugfest with the Lumberjack eventually drawing blood. As the match moved along in time MKA Bear noticed that Chick Donovan was using wire cutters to make a doorway for himself and Jimmy to sneak through. Eventually they did manage to get through the wire. By this time Referee Sid Nabors had been dazed from a collision. Jimmy ran over to the corner where the action was brutal and active. Boogie Valiant ran through the open in the wire, slugged Chick Donovan and pushed Jimmy Hart just as Jimmy swung his Megaphone. It hit Killer Karl in the head. Jos LeDuc took advantage by tying Krupp in the corner and using the Cowbell to beat Killer unmercifully. Killer Karl was KO’d as Referee Sid Nabors woke enough to see the action. He called the match. 20:45
