WWWF Results (Circa Late 70's) - King's Bay Boys Club, Brooklyn, NY. Att: 1,120.

Ring Announcer: Boys Club Program Director Ray Markham
Referee: Lou Super

1. "Flying" Fred Curry over Tony Russo at 6:38. The stocky Russo, who has a very low center of gravity, proved to be a challenge for Flying Fred's aerial assault. Curry was nearly pinned after over-shooting his opponent with a Flying Head Scissors attempt and landing awkwardly on his back. Russo threw up his arms in a premature celebration as he laid across Curry for the cover and was cradled with a crucifix on the mat for the three count.

2. Victor Rivera pinned Tank Patton at 8:07. Tank kept his opponent on the defensive throughout the match with his roughhouse tactics. It seemed as though every flurry of offense that Rivera could muster was thwarted by a rake of the eyes. Patton got a little too complacent for his own good, however, and was caught in a Small Package for the surprise pinfall as he attempted to scoop Victor up for a Body Slam.

Ray Markham announced that Bingo Night had been moved from it's normal 7:00 PM start time this coming Friday to 9:00 PM due to the basketball game between King's Bay and Our Lady of Guadalupe.

3. "Polish Power" Ivan Putski got a big hand from the fans as he entered the ring and went on to defeat Butcher Paul Vachon at 7:24. Vachon got in his share of offense to keep this match interesting, but in the end the big Butcher went down for the 1-2-3 after Putski's patented Polish Hammer.

4. Mr. Fuji & Professor Toru Tanaka defeated the team of Tony Garea & Sgt. Jacques Goulet at 8:44. There were some anxious moments for "Classy" Freddie Blassie's team from the Orient, but a handful of salt to Goulet's eyes from Professor Tanaka quickly turned things in their favor. Mr. Fuji then decked the blinded Goulet with a Kamikaze Clothesline for the winning pinfall.

Ray Markham reminded the patrons that tickets were still available for the February 14th Valentine's Day Ziti Dinner & Dance being held in the club's annex. The menu includes tossed salad, bread, pasta and meatballs with a slice of cheesecake and coffee for dessert; all for a tax deductible donation of $5.00. Checks can be made payable to "King's Bay Boys Club". Come one, come all !

5. "Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera was disqualified in tonight's Main Event match against Dominic Denucci at 9:25. Patera firmly cemented his heel status by ripping up a youngster's poster as he made his way down to ringside. Denucci proved to be a handful as he gave the Strongman a run for his money. The frustrated Patera pulled a foreign object from his tights in the corner and laid out Denucci with a loaded punch. Suspecting foul play, Referee Lou Super attempted to pry open Patera's fist for a looksee and was tossed out of the ring for his trouble. The dazed official immediately signaled for the bell.

WWWF Results (Circa Late 70's) - Civic Center, Baltimore, MD. Att: 7,381.

Announcer: Vince McMahon Jr.
Ring Announcer: Joe McHugh
Referees: Billy Caputo, Jack Lotz & John Stanley

1. Masked man El Olympico and "The Unpredicatable" Johnny Rodz battled to a 10:00 Time Limit Draw. Rodz showed great resiliency by escaping from one pinning predicament after another. So much so that announcer Vince McMahon claimed to have Olympico "way ahead on points" on his score card. Referee Billy Caputo didn't see it that way, however, and refused to declare a winner.

2. There was no denying a victor in the next match when Waldo Von Erich demolished Lee Wong from Hong Kong in just under three minutes. Von Erich was at his dirty and brutal best. A barrage of stomps, knees, choke holds and punches were the order of the day before Von Erich ended things with his Blitzkrieg Knee Drop from the top rope at 2:55.

3. The bout between "The One Man Riot Squad" Dick "The Bulldog" Brower and S.D. "Special Delivery" Jones was stopped due to blood at 5:18 by Referee John Stanley. Jones bled profusely after his forehead was busted open by a head smash to an exposed turnbuckle. The demented Brower made the wound worse still by gnawing on it. When the bell rang, some fans thought that the Bulldog had been disqualified. There were loud boos when his hand was raised in victory by Stanley after S.D. was deemed unable to continue.

4. "Fabulous" Frank Monte nearly pulled off an upset on young Steve Travis. The bleached blonde Monte took the fight to his opponent with some roughhouse tactics and landed a Backbreaker across the knee that might have gained him the pinfall had Travis not managed to get a foot on the ropes at the last possible instant. Monte was irate with Referee Billy Caputo and berated him for a "deliberate" slow count. The battered Travis took advantage of the moment to cradle his opponent in a surprise Schoolboy Roll Up from behind for the three count while Monte continued to jaw with Caputo. the time of the fall was 6:59.

5. Accompanied by "The Golden Boy" Arnold Skaaland, Bob Backlund drew a crowd of youngsters seeking an autograph as he made his way to the ring to face "Crazy" Luke Graham. Luke's impatient manager the Grand Wizard of Wrestling demanded that Referee John Stanley lay the ten count on him but the official ignored the request. Once Backlund was finally in the ring, Graham wasted no time in employing his controversial taped thumb to great effect as a concered Arnold Skaaland looked on. Backlund was whipped hard into the corner but hopped up to the 2nd rope to avoid a charging shoulder butt from Crazy Luke. Backlund then sprung over his opponent with a Sunset Flip for the three count at 9:24.

6. Captain Louis Albano's Valiant Brothers ("Handsome" Jimmy & "Luscious" Johnny) seem to have nine lives when it comes to retaining their WWWF Tag Team Titles against their number one contenders "Chief" Jay Strongbow & "High Chief" Peter Maivia. The flamboyant Valiants caught a lucky break when Strongbow was sent crashing into Referee Jack Lotz by "Handsome" Jimmy who was struggling to escape the Chief's Sleeper Hold. Lotz staggered back to his feet and called for the bell. The woozy official apparently felt that Strongbow's actions were intentional and disqualified the challengers at 12:33. The Valiant Brothers once again retain the WWWF Tag Team Belts.

WCW Results (Circa Early 90's) - Mathis Civic Center, Valdosta, GA. Att: 5,504.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & Missy Hyatt
Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
Referees: Randy "Pee Wee" Anderson, Nick Patrick & Randy Eller

1. WCW newcomer Chris Benoit opened some eyes with a victory over "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer at 5:27. Hammer was in the process of hoisting his opponent up for an Atomic Knee Drop when Benoit was able to flip himself out of the maneuver, get behing Hammer and pin him with a Bridging German Suplex.

2. The Texicans (Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce) defeated the team of "Z Man" Tom Zenk & Johnny Gunn at 7:36. Pierce and Slazenger combined for a Double Team Inverted DDT onto Gunn while Referee Nick Patrick was sending Tom Zenk back to his corner. Patrick turned around to find Pierce making the cover and counted the pin.

3. "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko (w/ Paul E. Dangerously) over Erik Watts at 6:41. Typical Zbyszko match here folks, i.e. a lot of stalling, arguing with the ref and jawing with the fans. When Larry finally got around to actually wrestling, he dominated young Watts before finishing him off with a Brainbuster.

4. Kevin Sullivan's Varsity Club (Captain Mike Rotundo from Syracuse University & "Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner from the University of Michigan) over Marcus Alexander Bagwell & 2 Cold Scorpio at 9:55. Scorpio was pinned amidst a ring full of chaos when Mike Rotundo reversed a Small Package cradle on Steiner for the winning, albeit tainted, pinfall.

5. WCW TV Title Match. Defending Champion"Flying" Brian Pillman over "Stunning" Steve Austin (w/ Lady Blossom) by DQ at 9:19. Pillman and Austin have been battling over the TV Title for several weeks now. Pillman gets the duke this time when Blossom ran into the ring to break up a Sleeper Hold being applied to Austin. The valet jumped on Pillman's back and dug in her fingernails prompting Referee Pee Wee Anderson to call for the bell. Brian Pillman retains the WCW TV Title.

6. "Ravishing" Rick Rude wrestled a man called Sting (w/ Spikey Blonde Hair, Colorful Face Paint & the Jungle Yell) to a 20:00 Time Limit Draw. Rude may have very well been saved by the bell here as he was caught in the Scorpion Death Lock as time expired. Many fans thought that Sting had won by submission when they heard the bell ring but were disappointed to hear the official decision when announced by Gary Cappetta.

WCW Results (Circa Early 90's) - Civic Center, Rainesville, AL. Att: 4,720.

Announcers: Jim Ross & Kevin Sullivan
Ring Announcer: Rick Stewart
Referees: Robarb Jones, Mickey Jay & Mike Atkins

1. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes opened the show with a win over "Inmate No. 3260" Death Row at 4:29. The ex-con hurt his own chances for victory when he missed a Splash off the second rope. Just as Death Row was getting back to his feet, he was flattened by a Bulldog from behind by Dustin for the pinfall.

2. "Rap Master" P.N. News made a mistake by taking his match against Cactus Jack outside the ring. Cactus, missing both teeth and marbles, is in his element whilst battling around ringside. Jack smashed a chair across the Rapmaster's back and then leapt off the apron with a Flying Elbow to his opponent on the floor. Cactus gave his trademark six-gun "Bang ! Bang !" hand gesture as Referee Mickey Jay put the ten count on the dazed P.N. News at 6:59.

3. This was an odd combination from the start, but the "team" of Big Josh and Johnny B. Badd disintegrated just 5 minutes into their tag match against the WCW World Champion Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs). The dysfunction began from the onset when Badd and Josh argued over who would start the match for their team and carried over when Badd refused to tag in and turned his back on his partner. The two men had words until Badd leveled the Lumberjack with a sucker punch. Saggs followed up with a Running Powerslam to gain the pinfall at 5:25. This was a non-title bout.

4. Colonel Parker employed some chicanery to help Bunkhouse Buck defeat El Gigante by disqualification at 7:38. With both wrestlers and Referee Robarb Jones all knocked down by the same mid-ring collision, Parker put some brass knucks in the dazed Gigante's hand. The Argentine Giant was the first man to get to his feet but Jones saw him holding the knucks and called for the DQ.

5. In a barn-burner of a match, Barry Windham bested "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson with some unexpected help from Paul E. Dangerously. The irritating manager from Scarsdale, NY stunned his own man with an errant phone smash to the noggin causing Arn to stagger right into a Small Package from Windham for the three count at 12:44.

6. $25,000 Bunkhouse Stampede Battle Royal. (Participants can bring weapons and wear whatever they please in the ring.) The Battle Royal included Big Josh, Arn Anderson, Cactus Jack, Barry Windham, Tracy Smothers, Brian Knobbs, Death Row, Mr. Hughes, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, Abdullah the Butcher, El Gigante, "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton, Jerry Saggs, P.N. News, Bunkhouse Buck and Johnny B. Badd.

Order of elimination: Tracy Smothers by Bunkhouse Buck. Johnny B. Badd by Big Josh with an Axe Handle Smash. Death Row by Abdullah the Butcher. El Gigante by Brian Knobbs & Jerry Saggs. Barry Windham & Cactus Jack by each other. Jerry Saggs by Mr. Hughes. Big Josh by Arn Anderson & Bobby Eaton. Bunkhouse Buck by Dustin Rhodes by reversing Buck's Cowbell Smash. Arn Anderson by P.N. News. Brian Knobbs by Abdullah the Butcher with a Ball Peen Hammer. Mr. Hughes & P.N. News by each other. Dustin Rhodes by Bobby Eaton with a 2x4 that Barry Windham had brought to the ring. Bobby Eaton by Abdullah the Butcher with a Fire Ball.

Your winner: Abdullah the Butcher at 24:04.

WCW Results (Circa Early 90's) - Reaves Arena, Perry, GA. Att: 4,738.

Announcers: Jim Ross & Missy Hyatt
Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
Referees: Bill Alphonso, Randy Eller & Teddy "Peanut Head" Long

1. 2 Cold Scorpio dazzled the crowd with his high flying theatrics enroute to victory over rugged Snake Watson. Scorpio leveled his opponent with a Slingshot Corkscrew Body Press from the apron followed by The Diss That Don't Miss (450 Splash from the top rope) for the pinfall at 3:39.

2. "Young Pistol" Steve Armstrong, who is normally paired with Tracy Smothers in tag team competition, went down to defeat at the hands of "Stunning" Steve Austin (w/ Lady Blossom) at 5:32. Armstrong's attempted Flying Cross Body Press was thwarted when Austin caught him in mid-air and transitioned his advantage into the Stun Gun (Hot Shot) for the three count.

3. A strange feud is brewing between Johnny B. Badd and Lumberjack Big Josh. The "Badd" Blood (pardon the pun) began when the two men joined forces last week as tag team partners and ended up fighting with each other more than with their opponents the Nasty Boys. Johnny's sucker punch on Josh ultimately cost their "team" the loss. The Lumberjack gained a bit of revenge later that evening by eliminating Badd from a Bunkhouse Stampede Battle Royal. They agreed to face each other tonight to settle their differences inside the squared circle. Well, as it turned out, nothing was settled thanks to a suspiciously fast ten count by Referee Teddy Long when Josh was tossed out of the ring and given a Body Slam on the floor. Your winner: Johnny B. Badd via Count Out (?) at 7:14.

4. Nearing the end of his wrestling career, "Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko (w/ Paul E. Dangerously) still had enough left in the tank to give "All-American" Ron Simmons fits in the ring. Zbyszko's constant stalling undermined any momentum that Simmons could muster. In the end, Larry got himself DQ'd when he slugged Referee Randy Eller with whom he was at odds with throughout the entire match.

5. The devious Kevin Sullivan thought that he had this one in the bag for his Varsity Club (Captain Mike Rotundo & "Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner) over their opponents the Fabulous Freebirds (Jimmy "Jam" Garvin & Michael P.S. Hayes) when he snuck into the ring and reversed Jimmy Garvin's Small Package cradle on Rick Steiner. Sullivan was one-upped, however, when the Gremlin's jilted brother Scott Steiner, who was providing guest commentary for the bout, left the announcers' table to re-reverse the cradle and put Garvin back on top for the pin. The time of the fall was 11:47. There was a brief but tense staredown between the Steiner brothers before Sullivan ushered his team backstage.

6. WCW United States Title Match. The fans in Perry, GA were treated to an exciting championship bout between the defending champion, the Great Muta (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) and his challenger, the man called Sting (w/ Spikey blonde hair, colorful face paint and a ton of charisma), in tonight's Main Event. Muta was unable to connect with his trademark Handspring Back Elbow Smash following a corner whip but quickly turn the tables on his opponent. The challenger got a faceful of Green Mist as he tried to follow up on his advantage with the Stinger Splash. Sting rolled out of the ring clutching at his eyes and was counted out by Referee Bill Alphonso at 18:25. The Great Muta retains the WCW United States Title.

WCW Results (Circa Early 90's) - McAlister Fieldhouse, Charleston, SC. Att: 5,380.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & Paul E. Dangerously
Ring Announcer: Rick Stewart
Referees: Lee Scott, Nick Patrick & Teddy "Peanut Head" Long

1. Diamond Dallas Page's Diamond Mine (Vinnie Vegas & the Diamond Studd) kicked things off with a dominant victory over the Italian Stallion & young Erik Watts at 4:36. Stallion was pinned by the one-two punch of a Swinging Side Slam off the ropes from Vegas followed by a Diamond Death Drop (Crucifix Powerbomb ) by the Studd.

2. Tracy Smothers (w/ "Young Pistol" tag partner Steve Armstrong) over Scotty Flamingo (w/ J.T. Southern) by DQ for outside interference at 6:18. A pretty even match up until Smothers connected with his Jaw Jacker (Flying Back Elbow Smash off the 2nd rope) that prompted J.T. Southern to run in and break up Smothers' subsequent pin attempt. Referee Nick Patrick immediately called for the bell and then had his hands full separating the combatants after Steve Armstrong entered the ring to join the fray.

3. Young Chris Benoit got the short end of the stick in his loss to Johnny B. Badd. Benoit was attempting to scoop his opponent up for a Body Slam when he was abruptly cradled by Badd for the pin at 6:57. Referee Teddy Long's very fast three count did not go unnoticed by Lumberjack Big Josh who had joined the announcers' table to provide guest commentary for the match. Josh took his microphone into the ring and accused Badd and Long of being in cahoots. Johnny tried to laugh it off but then suddenly charged at the Lumberjack and was sent flying over the top rope by a smash with the microphone.

4. It was clear form the onset that Referee Lee Scott was going to have his hands full maintaining order in the tag match between the Texicans (Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce) and the dysfunctional duo of Cactus Jack & Abdullah the Butcher. Scott had no choice but to throw the match out and disqualify both teams at 8:25 as all four men threw the rule book out the window and battled toe-to-toe in the ring.

5. Scott Steiner appeared to be on his way to victory when he caught Captain Mike Rotundo of the Varsity Club in his Frankensteiner (Hurricanrana), but the devious Kevin Sullivan was able to hold Referee Nick Patrick's attention long enough to prevent a pin count. As Scotty was getting back to his feet, he was flattened by a Flying Bulldog from behind by his brother, and fellow Varisty Club member, "Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner. The woozy Rotundo hooked a leg as Patrick finally turned around to make the three count at 9:43.

6. The Main Event between Barry Windham and "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff ended in a Double Count Out at 15:27. Both men had their moments in this contest, but a vicious Russian Sickle from Koloff sent both men flying over the top rope and toppling hard to the floor. Windham continued to slug it out with his opponent OOR while Referee Teddy Long issued the ten count.

Jindrak was given the High Times (Double Chokeslam) through the announcers' table and could not recover in time to make Referee Scott Dickinson's ten count.

5. WCW Cruiserweight Title Match. Challenger Billy Kidman (w/ Torrie Wilson) defeated the Champion, "Sugar" Shane Helms (w/ Shannon Moore) in an exciting and dangerous Ladder Match to with the Cruiserweight Title. Helms was but a fingertip away from grabbing and retaining his belt which dangled from the rafters above the ring when Kidman pushed the ladder over and sent the champion flying over the top rope and crashing onto Shannon Moore on the floor. Kidman was then able to set up the ladder and retrieve the belt to win the Cruiserweight Title.

6. "Crippler" Chris Benoit and Raven were both DQ'd by Johnny Boone at 8:06 in an out-of-control brawl around ringside that involved chairs, a trash can and the house microphone.

7. In the Main Event, Diamond Dallas Page defeated "The Total Package" Lex Luger (w/ Liz) at 11:50. DDP and Luger were both laid out after a mid-ring collision off the ropes. While Referee Scott Dickinson argued with Liz, the fickle Kimberly Page ran into the ring and layed her estranged husband's arm across Luger's chest. Dickinson turned around and counted the pin.

2. Cruiserweight Triple Threat Match. Shannon Moore vs. "Above Average" Mike Sanders vs. "The Juice" Juventud Guerrera. Sanders proved he was "Above Average" at least for tonight in Calgary by pinning Juvy at 7:09. Shannon Moore stunned Guerrera with his Bottoms Up (Leg Drop Bulldog off the top rope) but was hit with the 3.0 (Inverted DDT Backbreaker) by Sanders before he could make the cover. Sanders could have probably pinned either man at that point but opted to cover Juvy for the three count.

3. The Mamalukes (Big Vito & Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli were DQ'd in their tag match with David Flair & Crowbar (w/ Daffney Unger) at 7:47. Johnny was caught whacking David Flair from behind with a blackjack by Referee Jimmy Jett to draw the disqualification.

7. United States Tournament Finals. The n.W.o.'s Scott Hall defeated Mike Awesome to win the belt at 12:58. With Referee Nick Patrick down on the mat and Hall being battered from pillar to post, n.W.o. lackey Buff Bagwell ran down to ringside and delivered a Blockbuster (Diving Neckbreaker off the top rope) onto Awesome. The woozy Hall collapsed on top of Awesome as Patrick recovered to make the three count. It should be noted that Nick Patrick has the reputation of being on the n.W.o.'s payroll. Nevertheless, Hall was congratulated by stablemates Kevin Nash, Scott Norton, Vincent and Buff Bagwell as the n.W.o. celebrated in the ring.

2. Disco Inferno (Strutting to the Bee Gee's "Saturday Night Fever" ) beat "The Iceman" Dean Malenko by Count Out at 6:15. Malenko was dominating the match until Tony Marinara, who was watching from the wings, sent the Mamalukes (Big Vito & Johnny "The Bull" Stamboli) down to ringside. With Malenko tossed out of the ring and Referee Mickey Jay admonishing Disco for his tactics, the Mamalukes put a beating on "The Iceman" behind the ref's back. Malenko was too badly injured to make the subsequent ten count.

3. Ernest "The Cat" Miller (w/ Red Karate Slippers and Sonny Onoo) defeated Perry Saturn at 8:29. The Cat connected with his Feliner (Spin Kick) to the jaw following an Onoo distraction to score the pinfall.

4. "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner (w/ Valet Midajah) and former Chicago Bears' lineman Steve "Mongo" McMichael were both disqualified by Referee Slick Johnson at 9:26 in a wild brawl that saw both men clobber one another with a lead pipe that Midajah had thrown into the ring. Prior to the match, Big Poppa Pump earned bonus heel points for grabbing the mic away from Lee Marshall and insulting the city of Anaheim as well as the Mighty Ducks hockey team.

5. No. 1 Contenders Match for the WCW Tag Team Titles. KroniK (Brian Adams & Bryan Clark) over Harlem Heat (Booker T & Stevie Ray) at 8:24. Stevie was counted out following the High Times (Double Chokeslam) through the timekeeper's table.

6. WCW World Title Match. The Champion, Sting, was defeated by Goldberg at 15:23. Michael "Let's Get Ready to Rumble" Buffer provided the ring introductions for this Championship Match. 6. In the Main Event, the nWo's "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash was the beneficiary of some shady doings as he defeated Bret "The Hitman" Hart at 10:17. Patrick miraculously recovered to count the pin for Nash. After the bout, Hall spray painted "nWo" onto the KO'd Hart's chest.

4. Steel Cage Match. "Sensei" Pat Tanaka defeated his former Badd Company tag team partner Paul "Hard Rock" Diamond at 12:47. A lot of bad blood between these two since they parted ways several weeks ago. With Diamond dominating the match, Diamond Dallas Page ran down to ringside and slipped a chunk of pipe through the cage to the bloody and battered Tanaka. Tanaka KO'd Diamond with a loaded punch and climbed out to victory. Page had to assist Tanaka backstage. DDP had vowed to remain neutral in this feud but this is the second time that he has interferred to help Tanaka win.

5. "Playboy" Buddy Rose (w/ "Sensational" Sherri Martel) over David Sammartino at 12:11. Sherri Martel sprayed David in the eyes with perfume while Buddy Rose distracted Referee Robert Warren. Rose then cradled the blinded Sammartino for the pin. Prior to the match, Ring Announcer Larry Nelson grudgingly introduced Rose as weighing "a svelte 217 lbs".

6. Nick Bockwinkle pinned "Olympian" Brad Rheingans at 11:04. Brad missed a corner charge and ran full steam into the ring post. The wily veteran Bockwinkle then rolled him up from behind with a handful of tights for the pinfall.

7. "The Living Legend" Larry Zbyszko (w/ Go the Ninja) over Chief Wahoo McDaniel in the Main Event via Count Out at 7:38. Go was a nuisance at ringside and got in several cheap shots as motor-mouth Zbyszko kept Referee Gary DeRusha occupied with his constant complaining. The Chief's temper got the better of him as he left the ring to brawl with the Ninja on the floor and was counted out by DeRusha.

4. Big Scott Hall over Big Bad Bobby Duncum (w/ Eddie "The Brain" Creatchman) at 8:42. This was a brutal match. With Referee Gary DeRusha knocked down in the action, Creatchman threw a chair in the ring for Duncum to use but Hall got his hands on it first and laid out the big cowboy with a vicious chair shot. Duncum was busted open and bled profusely. Gary DeRusha stopped the match due to blood. Duncum was furious with the ref's decision and threw DeRusha out of the ring.

5. The Cobra Corps. ("High Flyer" Greg Gagne & "America's Hero" Sergeant Slaughter) defeated the team of "Mr. Magnificent" Kevin Kelly & "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Nick Kiniski (w/ Madusa Micelli) at 8:56. 6. Ray "The Crippler" Stevens (w/ Nick Bockwinkel) over Billy Robinson at 13:19. Bockwinkel reached into the ring and pulled Robinson's leg out from under him as he was attempting to Suplex Stevens. The Crippler fell on top for the winning pinfall. The loss ended Robinson's undefeated streak in the AWA.

7. Stan "The Lariat" Hansen beat Otto Wanz by Count Out at 11:08. Hansen whipped Big Otto into the steel barricade railing which promptly collapsed on top of him during OOR action. Wanz was unable to make Referee Marty Miller's ten count. Hansen wrestled the entire match in his cowboy vest and chaps. After the match Hansen bolted from the ring and startled several slot machine players by running throughout the Showboat casino ringing his cowbell. The security staff could not subdue him.

1. "Sheik" Ken Patera (w/ Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee) over Alex Knight by submission with the Swinging Full Nelson Neckbreaker at 4:48. After the bout, El-Kaisee got into a shouting match with "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell who came down to ringside for an interview with Larry Nelson.

"In This Corner" Segment with Larry Nelson

Nelson's guest was "Crusher" Jerry Blackwell who talked about the recent friction between himself and Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee. Blackwell accused El-Kaisee of "skimming off the top" in regards to his ring earnings. He said "I don't know where all my damn money's goin' but it sure as hell ain't in my bank account". El-Kaisee interrupted the interview and said "I don't need your money, Blackwell !! I have all the oil in the Middle East !! All the American people know I'm already rich !!" Kaisee then spouted off in Arabic as Larry Nelson did his best to keep both men separated.

2. Baron Von Raschke defeated Dennis Stamp by submission with the Iron Claw Hold at 6:22.

3. Ladies Tournament Match. Madusa Micelli (w/ "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Nick Kiniski) eliminated Joyce Grable at 8:43. Grable was distracted by the pesty Kiniski at ringside allowing Madusa to sneak up from behind with her Bridging German Suplex for the pin.

4. Boris Zhukov (w/ Sheik Adnan El-Kaisee) defeated Anthony "Earthquake" Ferris at 5:22. El-Kaisee snuck into the ring and bashed Ferris from behind with Zhukov's flagpole while the big Russian kept Referee Larry Lisowski occupied. Zhukov then pounced on Earthquake for the tainted pin.

1. Phil Mercado made the mistake of exchanging Head Butts with the hard noggin of Tiger Conway Jr. Mercado was out on his feet by the time Tiger connected with a Standing Drop Kick to the kisser for the pin at 4:31.

2. Ron Slinker returned to action from suspension and picked right up where he left off - hurting people with his repertoire of the dark martial arts. Slinker forced a submission from his opponent Bubba Douglas with his variation of the Fujiwara Arm Bar at 5:28 and kept the hold applied well after the bell had rung as his manager "Playboy" Gary Hart jawed with Referee Charley Laye. Douglas had to be assisted to the back for medical attention afterward.

3. The mysterious masked man Mr. Uganda (w/ Sonny King) over Tampa's Steve Keirn by Count Out at 8:04. Keirn was tossed out of the ring and blindsided by Sonny King with a blackjack while out on the floor. Referee Scrappy McGowan could have counted to a hundred.

4. Jack Brisco over Siegfried Stanke (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) at 9:29. Stanke scored a near pinfall on Brisco after clubbing him over the back with Sir Oliver's walking stick while Referee Buddy Colt was arguing with the pesty manager. By the time Colt turned around and got into position to count the pin, enough time had elapsed to enable Brisco to kick out. Jack won the match moments later with his Figure Four Leglock. Stanke was trapped in the middle of the ring and writhing in pain prompting Humperdink to throw in the towel.

5. Jim Garvin has proven himself to be the ally Jos LeDec needed when the big Lumberjack parted ways with Sonny King's Family. LeDuc and Garvin defeated the duo of Mr. Sato & Mr. Saito from the Orient by DQ at 12:30. Garvin was able to duck at the last second and avoid a handful of salt from Mr. Sato but Referee Charley Laye was not as fortunate. The blinded ref immediately called for the bell and was doused with a picture of water courtesy of Announcer Gordon Solie. Laye was led to the back left with a towel pressed to his face.

6. Florida Championship Match. Although he didn't mean to, Jos LeDuc cost Blackjack Mulligan his title shot against Champion Don Muraco. In his exuberance to finally get his hands on the devious Sonny King, the Lumberjack returned to ringside and chased the manager into the ring while the match was in progress. Muraco immediately came to his manager's defense and duked it out with LeDuc. Although, the Lumberjack got the better of the exchange, Referee Scrappy McGowan called for the bell and disqualified Mulligan due to LeDuc's interference.

1. Killer Karl Kox (w/ Mysterious Voices in his head) was nearly counted out when he inexplicably left the ring and sat in an empty seat in the fourth row of spectators. His opponent Raul Mata would have been wise to allow Referee Sonny Myers to continue his ten count, but he chose instead to goad Kox back into the ring. The Killer returned with a vengeance and demolished his opponent within minutes. Kox pinned Mata with a Delayed Brainbuster at 4:36.

2. Strongman Paul Ellering was attacked before the bell by his opponent but overcame the loss of points to defeat Bryan St. John at 5:02. Ellering's strength won out in the end when he induced a submission from St. John with an Over-the-Shoulder Backbreaker.

There was an interview segment at the Announcers' Table with Gordon Solie & Blackjack Mulligan regarding last week's incident in which Mulligan was disqualified in his title match against Florida Champion Don Muraco due to Lumberjack Jos Leduc's interference. Mulligan said that he understands the bad blood between Leduc and Sonny King, but added that "there's a time and a place for everything" and his championship match with Muraco last week was not "the right time".

Sensing an opportunity, Sonny King came out to further stir up the hornet's nest. He asked Mulligan how it felt to have Leduc blow his shot at the title and reminded him that he may never get another crack at the belt. Mulligan stared at him slyly and bit his lip. King then took out a wad of cash and flashed in front of Mulligan's mug. He asked the big Cowboy to consider joining his Family and get his revenge on the Lumberjack. Mulligan eyed the money but said nothing as he walked off the set.

3. "Dirty" Don Serrano from Veracruz, Mexico issued Big Bill Dromo a setback with a tainted win at 8:14. Dromo had been on a roll since returning to the squared circle from injuries sustained at the hands of the demented Ron Slinker a few months ago but victory was not to be this evening. Serrano more than lived up to his name and jabbed Dromo in the throat with a hidden foreign object that he had pulled from his tights to gain the three count.

4. Sonny King's Family (Korean Pak Song & King Curtis Iaukea) defeated the team of Tiger Conway Jr. & Sweet Brown Sugar at 9:03. Sugar was in the process of cleaning house in the ring with both Curtis and Song when Blackjack Mulligan ambled down to ringside to observe the Family in action. His presence distracted Sugar who was blindsided and decked by a Karate Thrust Kick to the jaw courtesy of Pak Song and subsequently pinned by Iaukea. The big Cowboy then returned to the dressing room but not before getting a slap on the back from Sonny King.

5. It would appear that Sir Oliver Humperdink has absolutely no control over his charge Bugsy McGraw who fancies himself as somewhat of a crop duster pilot. Bugsy once again wore a scarf, googles and a leather pilot's helmet in the ring while he wrestled "All-American" Bob Roop. The unorthodox McGraw made some goofy pratfalls for no apparent reason and had everyone guessing what he would do next. Roop found out soon enough when Bugsy cracked him over the back with Sir Oliver's walking stick and snapped the cane in half. Referee Don Curtis called for the bell at 7:44 and immediately bailed out of the ring when the DQ'd Bugsy threw the broken cane at him.

6. The Main Event battle between "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes and "Handsome" Harley Race became a war of endurance in the heat and humidity of the Miami night. Both men were fatigued but fought on as their match neared it's thirty minute time limit. The Dream was able to back drop out of his opponent's Piledriver attempt, but was cradled by Race for the three count when he attempted to apply a Figure Four Leglock. Your winner at 28:25 - "Handsome" Harley Race.

1. The demented martial arts expert Ron Slinker (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) had a mean look in his eye as he made a beeline to the ring and demolished the masked El Rayo. Slinker loves to inflict pain with a repertoire of nerve holds and toyed with his opponent for well over three minutes before finally inducing a submission with a grueling leg grapevine at 3:49.

2. Popular Mike Graham from Tampa defeated the Beautiful Beauregarde at 7:20. Beauregarde was sent crashing into manager Sir Oliver Humperdink who had climbed up onto the apron to interfere. Graham caught his dazed opponent with a cradle from behind for the pinfall.

3. Thor the Viking (w/ Sonny King) upset Lumberjack Jos LeDuc at 7:52. LeDuc was distracted by the appearance of Blackjack Mulligan who stalked around ringside throughout the match. Thor came off the top rope with a Double Axe Handle to the preoccupied Lumberjack's back to gain the three count. After the bell, there was a tense staredown between Mulligan and LeDuc before both men went their respective ways. (Mulligan has been mulling over the idea of joining Sonny King's Family ever since LeDuc cost the big cowboy his shot at Florida champion Don Muraco.)

4. A telegraphed Drop Kick proved to be the undoing of Tiger Conway Jr. in his loss to Terry Funk at 8:33. Funk put on the brakes as he bounded off the ropes causing Tiger to miss his aerial maneuver and land flat on his back. It was all downhill from there as Funk applied a Spinning Toe Hold to his downed opponent. Conway desperately reached for the ropes but came up inches short and had to ultimately tap out from the pain.

5. Rocky Johnson defeated Lars Anderson (w/ Killer Karl Kox) by DQ at 11:42. Lars dominated the early going but Rocky Johnson mounted a comeback that was capped off by the Johnson Shuffle (3 Jabs and KO Punch with some fancy footwork). Rocky then clamped on a Boston Crab prompting Killer Karl Kox to run in with a smash from behind with the mysterious money bag of coins to draw the disqualification from Referee John Heath. Kox and Anderson then joined Gordon Solie at the announcers' table where the Killer justified his actions in a post-match interview. Kox insisted that his Chesapeake Crab was much more effective than Rocky's Boston Crab and went on to say that "the voices" told him to slug Johnson with the bag of coins to "knock some sense into him".

6. Florida Tag Team Title Match. The defending Champions, the Spoilers I & II, were upended by their challengers the Brisco Brothers (Jack & Jerry) at 10:51. Increasingly frustrated by the crafty Briscos, Spoiler I resorted to desperate measures by trying to bash Jack in the head with one of the tag title belts. Jack was able to duck at the last second, however, leaving Spoiler II (rumoured to be Bobby Duncum under the mask) to take the full brunt of the blow instead leading to the pinfall. The Briscos are the Neeeeeewwwwwww Florida Tag Team Champions !!

1. "All-American" Bob Roop barely broke a sweat in his victory over Sir Winston at 3:07. Roop was all business and dominated from the onset before ending things with a Shoulderbreaker.

2. The sinister Pak Song (w/ the equally sinister Sonny King) toyed with Pete Austin and yanked him up on several two-counts before applying his dreaded Korean Claw Hold for the submission win at 4:40. Song kept the hold on well after the bell while Sonny King distracted Referee Scrappy McGowan.

3. Judy Martin over Suzette Ferrera with a little chicanery at 6:23. The wily Martin stumbled off the ropes and clutched at her ankle with a grimace of pain. The naive Ferrera bent over to check on her opponent and was cradled by Martin in a Small Package for the three count.

4. The fans really got into the high-energy ring entrance of Sweet Brown Sugar & his partner Tiger Conway Jr. who rode the crowd's enthusiasm to victory over the House of Humperdink (Siegfried Stanke & Beautiful Beauregarde) at 9:30. Stanke inadvertently clubbed his own partner with manager Sir Oliver Humperdink's walking stick when Sweet Brown Sugar was able to escape Beauregarde's grasp at the last second. Sugar hooked a leg for the pinfall while Tiger Conway Jr. cleared the ring of Stanke.

5. Big Bill Dromo came to the ring looking for some payback on the man who put him on the shelf for several weeks with an injury, but his opponent Ron Slinker didn't come to wrestle. The demented martial arts expert Slinker was apparently anxious to finish what he had started as he raced into the ring and choked out Dromo with his Kimono robe. Slinker threw Referee Don Curtis out of the ring and even shoved his own manager "Playboy" Gary Hart down to the mat as Dromo flailed away gasping for breath. Several wrestlers ran into the ring to finally subdue Slinker. The bout was declared a "No Contest" by Don Curtis since the bell had never rung to officially start the match.

6. Blackjack Mulligan and Lumberjack Jos LeDuc finally met inside the squared circle to settle their differences and it was not pretty. Both men wore the crimson mask as they slugged it out toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring. Referee Buddy Colt, who is no stranger himself to mixing it up with the rough stuff, allowed a lot of leeway to the wrestlers and even caught a stray haymaker which sent him sprawling to the canvas. Sonny King then sent Pak Song into the ring to apply the Korean Claw to LeDuc. The battered lumberjack was caught by surprise and quickly crumpled to the mat. Mulligan, who was also down at the time and oblivious to the interference, crawled over to make the cover as a woozy Buddy Colt counted the pin. After the bell, Sonny King ran into the ring to congratulate Mulligan but the big Cowboy wanted nothing to do with him. Insulted by the snub, King then had Song attack Mulligan next and he, too, fell victim to the Korean Claw. King and Song finally left the ring with both Mulligan and LeDuc laid out on the canvas.

Your Winner: Bastion Booger

4. Mr. Bob Backlund (w/out All His Marbles) over Duke "The Dumpster" Droese (w/ Black Back Support Belt) by DQ at 6:54. 5. The Arkansas' Pig Farmers, the Godwinns (Henry O. & Phineas I. w/ Hillbilly Jim) defeated Jim Cornette's Heavenly Bodies ("Doctor of Desire" Tom Prichard & "Gigolo" Jimmy Del Ray) at 7:42. 6. Seeking revenge after his early ouster from tonight's Battle Royal, Jerry "The King" Lawler beat Razor Ramon (w/ toothpick flick and a sore back) via Count Out at 15:36. Rather than oozing his normal machismo, Ramon was clearly hurting but insisted upon wrestling the match despite his injury. "The King" wasted no time in going after his opponent's back. The action eventually spilled OOR where Lawler Body Slammed Ramon on the floor. Writhing in pain and struggling to get back to his feet, Razor could not make it back inside the ring to make Earl Hebner's ten count.

5. "HBK" Shawn Michaels (w/ bodyguard "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel) beat Bodydonna Skip (w/ Sunny) at 9:35. Skip was off his game and enraged that his valet seemed to be flirting with Michaels throughout the match. Skip finally had enough and blew a gasket when he caught HBK planting a kiss on Sunny. The Bodydonna charged at Michaels and ran right into the Sweet Chin Music Superkick for the pinfall.

6. The Undertaker (w/ Paul Bearer & Urn) defeated Waylon Mercy at 7:51. Mercy's strategy going into the bout was to get his hands on the mysterious Urn that the Undertaker seems to draw supernatural power from but was unsuccessful after several attempts. The 'Taker grabbed his opponent by the throat and planted Mercy with a huge Chokeslam for the victory.

7. Intercontinental Title Match. Champion "Psycho" Sid over "The Native American" Tatanka via Count Out at 9:17.
