Pittsburgh's running game dominated the First Half. Franco Harris pounded away and was relieved not much by Rocky Blier but by Ken Davis. Preston Pearson also got a handful of carries. The Steeler defense shut down the Colts for most of the game as well. Lydell Mitchell was the main man for Baltimore, but the Colts just could not sustain many drives. Raymond Chester finally broke free in the Fourth Quarter with 3 catches for 53 yards and the Colts lone touchdown.
I've had this game for quite a while - and I finally played a full game! What a lot of fun. It's great to watch the game play out and it was always engaging. I made a few decisions - coffin corner punts, an onside kick and a few passes on 3rd Down and Long - but for the most part I let the game do the work. My taste in games may be changing, I sure enjoyed watching the game play and not having to call all the plays was not a concern. I could have called the Offensive plays, but there was just no need to.
