1983 USFL Replay
I am about to replay the 1983 USFL Season with GWD. I made some scoring charts to be able to assign individual scoring for a layer of "stats". Looking forward to this! Follow along and list your favorite team. I liked the Generals because of Walker from the Bulldogs of UGA. However, I seemed to like a lot of different teams from the USFL era whereas my NFL loyalties were really limited to the Atlanta Falcons. I'm kind of like that with hockey as I seem to have several "favorite" teams. This will be fun.

Week 1 Complete and Here's the Week 2 Schedule & What to Look For

*Chicago Blitz (1-0) at Arizona Wranglers (0-1)
Blitz are coming off a strong showing vs. the Federals where they only allowed 7 points. Wranglers O needs to figure some things out as they only managed a field goal in a hard fought loss to Oakland in week 1.
*Michigan Panthers (1-0) at Tampa Bay Bandits (0-1)
Both teams are coming off of tight ball games. Coach Steve Spurrier and Bandits will not want to start the season in an 0-2 hole.
*Birmingham Stallions (0-1) at Oakland Invaders (1-0)
This should be a tight game. Stallions may need it more than Invaders but have to make the trip out west.
*Boston Breakers (1-0) at Denver Gold (1-0)
Gold look to cash in on a second straight home game and the momentum from besting the Stars in week 1. Boston's Johnnie Walton set the league on fire in week 1 with 3 TD passes and a TD run
*New Jersey Generals (1-0) at Philadelphia Stars (0-1)
New Jersey would love to put the Stars in an 0-2 hole. Coach Mora's "dynasty in the making" will be looking to get to 1-1
*Washington Federals (0-1) at L.A. Express (0-1)
Both teams did not impress in Week 1 with the Federals looking like the weaker of the two.

Johnny Dollar's Week 2 Predictions
*For entertainment purposes only*
Blitz, Panthers, Breakers, Invaders, Stars, and Express are my picks for Week 2 with LA being the "Lock of the Week"
Chicago Blitz 31 Arizona Wranglers 21

*Tim Spencer rushes for 2 TDs as Blitz score 14 unanswered in 4th to beat Wranglers.
*RB Calvin Murray for Wranglers catches a TD and runs for another in losing effort.

Blitz (2-0) 0-14-3-14= 31
Wranglers (0-2) 0-7-7-7= 21

Michigan @ Tampa Bay
Hoping to find my files for this so I can pick it back up.
