Referees: Bill Alphonso, Robarb Jones & Randy "Pee Wee" Anderson

1. "Z Man" Tom Zenk made quick work of his opponent Brian Carr. Zenk pinned Carr with a Missile Drop Kick off the top rope at 2:14 as the fans were still filing in and finding their seats at the Marina Civic Center.

2. The Varsity Club's Captain Mike Rotundo of Syracuse University (w/ Kevin Sullivan) put away "Candyman" Brad Armstrong with an Airplane Spin and Fallaway Slam at 5:57.

3. Big Josh (w/ Axe Handle) was counted out in his match against the Diamond Studd (w/ Diamond Dallas Page & The Diamond Doll) at 8:12. The Lumberjack took a faceful of perfume from the Diamond Doll during OOR action and could not find his way back inside the ring in time to make Referee Robarb Jones' ten count.

4. The team of Robert Gibson & "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes emerged victorious over the yuppie York Foundation (Richard Morton & "The Computerized Man of the 90's" Terrence Taylor w/ Executive Director Alexandra York & "Head of Security" Mr. Hughes) at 10:51. Rhodes pinned Terrence Taylor with a Running Bulldog after "The Natural" reversed a face smash to an exposed turnbuckle in the York Foundation's corner. Morton ran in to break up the pin but was intercepted by a High Flying Drop Kick from his former tag team partner Robert Gibson.

5. WCW TV Title Match. Challenger "Flyin'" Brian Pillman pulled out a victory in spectacular fashion to dethrone Johnny B. Badd as the Televison Champion. The agile Pillman hopped up to the top rope from the apron and springboarded himself off with a Flying Cross Body Press to pin Johnny. Brian Pillman is the Neeeeeewwwwww WCW TV Champion !!

6. All heck broke loose in a wild brawl between Barry Windam and Bunkhouse Buck (w/ Colonel Robert Parker) in the Main Event. Both men were counted out by Referee Pee Wee Anderson at 12:05 as the melee spread into the crowd sending spectators scattering in every direction.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes
Ring Announcer: Gary Michael Cappetta
Referees: Robarb Jones, Bill Alphonso & Randy "Pee Wee" Anderson

1. The Texicans (Tex Slazenger & Shanghai Pierce w/ Hangman's Noose) put a "clubberin" (as Dusty described it) on their opponents the Italian Stallion & young Erik Watts. Pierce & Slazenger used quick tags to keep the Stallion close to their corner and prevent Watts from tagging in. Tex put the Stallion away with an inverted DDT at 4:47.

2. "Rap Master" P.N. News defeated Inmate# 3260 Death Row with the Broken Record (Diving Splash off the top rope) at 4:31.

3. The York Foundation's "Head of Security" Mr. Hughes (w/ Executive Director Alexandra York & "The Computerized Man of the 90's" Terrence Taylor) beat "Heavy Metal" Van Hammer (w/ Electric Guitar) at 7:03. As Hammer took the battle to his opponent, York and Taylor worked furiously on the laptop crunching numbers to come up with a winning formula for Mr. Hughes. Apparently the program called for Taylor to whack Hammer in the head with the computer while Referee Pee Wee Anderson's back was turned. The dazed rocker then stumbled into a Swinging Sidewalk Slam from Hughes for the pin.

4. Kevin Sullivan's Varsity Club (Captain Mike Rotundo & "Dog-Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner) were victorious over the exciting and popular Young Pistols (Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong) at 8:37. Rick Steiner (the illegal man) absolutely planted an unwitting Tracy Smothers with a Bulldog off the top rope as Referee Bill Alphonso was arguing with Kevin Sullivan. Rotundo pounced on Smothers for the cover and Alphonso turned around to count the pin.

5. "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes won the hard way in his match against "Stunning" Steve Austin (w/ Lady Blossom) at 12:14. Dustin made a grand entrance in Rainesville by ringing a cowbell with one hand and waving his Stetson with the other to earn bonus babyface points. The cowbell would come back to haunt "The Natural", however, as Austin rang Rhodes' bell by bashing him in the forehead with it. Referee Robarb Jones saw the infraction and immediately called for the disqualification. Your winner by DQ with a pounding headache: Dustin Rhodes.

6. United States Title Match. Challenger Scott Steiner was counted out in his bid to win the US Title from the Great Muta (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) at 18:49. As the action spilled OOR, Steiner was sprayed in the face with Muta's mysterious Green Mist and could not find his way back inside the ring in time to make Referee Bill Alphonso's ten count. The Great Muta retains the United States Title.

Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Referees: Dick Kroll, Danny Davis & Gilberto Roman

1. Blackjack Mulligan from Eagle Pass, TX defeated "High Roller" Barry O from "The Fabulous Las Vegas, NV" with the big Blackjack Flying Back Elbow Smash off the ropes at 3:36.

2. Veteran S.D. Jones had Brutus Beefcake reeling after a series of Head Butts but allowed himself to be distracted by "Luscious" Johnny V's antics outside of the ring. Jones turned around and was met by Beefcake's Running High Knee Smash for the pinfall at 4:26.

3. WWF newcomer Randy "Macho Man" Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth and "Pomp & Circumstance" entrance music) was tested by the quite capable Scott McGhee. "The-Not-So-Macho-Man" (as labeled by Gorilla Monsoon during the telecast) drew some heat for hiding behind his valet when the action spilled out of the ring and onto the floor. Savage eventually landed a Double Axe Handle from the top rope before finishing McGhee off with his patented Flying Elbow Drop at 5:11.

4. Parris Island's Sergeant Slaughter (w/ swagger stick and a salute for Old Glory at ringside) had to contend with "Gentleman" Jerry Valiant's constant use of a hidden foreign object. Valiant eventually dropped the weapon after a Slaughter Cannon (Clothesline) off the ropes. It was all downhill from there for "Gentleman" Jerry as the Sarge clamped on the Cobra Clutch for the submission victory at 6:30.

5. Some miscommunication between the Moondogs (Rex & Spot) led to defeat at the hands of the Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) at 6:57. Spotty errantly clobbered his own partner with one of the Moondog's nasty bones causing Rex to stumble right into a Double Drop Kick from the Bees for the three count.

6. WWF World Title Match. Challenger "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff over Champion Hulk Hogan by disqualification at 15:44. The Hulkster was busted open by Mr. Wonderful after having his head rammed into the ring post during OOR action. Hulk was able to get himself back inside the ring before the ten count however he was blinded by his own blood and accidentally slugged Referee Danny Davis with a wild punch that was meant for Orndorff. Davis called for the bell after shaking out the cobwebs from the haymaker. Hulk Hogan retains the WWF Title despite the DQ loss.

Announcers: Gorilla Monsoon & Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Referees: Dave Hebner, Danny Davis & Joey Marella

1. "Leaping" Lanny Poffo bested Les Thornton in tonight's opening bout. With the match rapidly nearing its ten minute time limit, Poffo pulled out a win with a Moonsault off the top rope at 9:37.

2. "King" Harley Race, in all his regal splendor and with manager Bobby "The Brain" Heenan in his corner, topped the up and coming Paul Roma at 4:52. Roma was pinned with the King's Cradle Suplex when he tucked his head too soon on a Back Body Drop attempt.

3. Fellow Heenan Family member King Kong Bundy followed up Harley Race's victory with one of his own as he pinned Jose Luis Rivera with his Atlantic City Avalanche (Running Corner Crush) at 4:31. As always, Bundy insisted upon a five count from Referee Joey Marella.

4. Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka gave the fans what they came to see when he pinned Tiger Chung Lee with the Superfly Splash off the top rope at 6:14. Lee's martial arts expertise kept him in the match until a leaping Head Butt from the Superfly staggered the tough Korean. Lee was then caught with a Reverse Chop off the ropes to set up Snuka's trademark finisher.

5. Corporal Kirchner proved to be the weakest link in the tag match between the Super Powers (Nikolai Volkoff & the Iron Sheik) and the Cobra Corps. (Kirchner & Sergeant Slaughter). Volkoff and his partner wore down Kirchner and kept him close to their corner as they dished out the punishment. The Sarge could stand no more and entered the ring to clean house. As he was being ushered back to his corner by Referee Danny Davis, the Sheik loaded the pointy toe of his boot and kicked Kirchner in the throat to gain the three count at 7:28.

6. Intercontinental Title Match. The Magnificent Muraco (w/ Mr. Fuji) was disqualified in his title defense against the Junk Yard Dog at 12:40. Muraco blatantly clubbed the Dog over the back with his manager's cane to draw the DQ from Referee Dave Hebner. Nevertheless, Muraco retains the Intercontinental Title.

Announcers: Jack Reynolds & Jesse "The Body" Ventura
Ring Announcer: Mel Phillips
Referees: Dave Hebner, Jack Kroll & Danny Davis

1. Gino Carabello & A.J. Petruzzi could get nothing going against the popular masked Invaders I & II. Petruzzi was on rubber legs after he and his partner were whipped together from opposite corners of the ring and pinned with a Diving Cross Body Press from the top rope by Invader II for the three count at 4:24.

2. Hillbilly Jim (w/ Lucky Horseshoe) over Terry Gibbs at 5:36. WWF Champion Hulk Hogan's influence on the big Hillbilly showed through tonight as Jim decked his opponent with a Big Boot off the ropes and finished Gibbs off with a Running Leg Drop moments later.

3. "Rowdy" Roddy Piper got a helping hand (or arm in this case) from his bodyguard "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton in his victory over Jim Powers. Powers got clubbed from behind with Orton's controversial forearm cast and stumbled right into a Swinging Neckbreaker from the "Rowdy" one for the pinfall at 4:17.

4. "Canada's Greatest Athlete" Iron Mike Sharpe had no idea how to deal with the unconventional George "The Animal" Steele (w/ Captain Louis Albano). The Animal was up to his usual antics by gnawing open a turnbuckle pad and throwing the stuffing at his perplexed opponent. Iron Mike tried to take advantage of the missing corner pad by ramming Steele's head into the exposed turnbuckle but the Animal reversed the head smash and pinned the dazed Sharpe at 6:58.

5. The strutting Brutus Beefcake (w/ manager "Luscious" Johnny V) beat B. Brian Blair of the Killer Bees at 8:08. Blair was perched on the top rope to deliver a high risk maneuver when he was shoved from behind by Johnny V and crashed to the canvas. Brutus followed up with a Flying Knee Drop to score the three count.

6. The Heenan Family ("Olympic Strongman" Ken Patera & Big John Studd w/ Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) were disqualified in their Main Event tag team match against the British Bulldogs (Dynamite Kid & Davey Boy Smith) at 9:43. Patera smashed Davey Boy in the back with a chair as the British Bulldog was attempting to lift Studd and cash in on the $5,000 Body Slam Challenge. Smith crumpled to the mat with Studd on top of him as Referee Dick Kroll called for the bell.

WWF Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Hara Arena, Dayton, OH. Att: 5,493.

Announcers: Gorilla Monsoon & "Mean" Gene Okerlund
Ring Announcer: Howard Finkel
Referees: Dave Hebner, Dick Woehrle & Danny Davis

1. "No. 1 Frenchman" Rene Goulet (w/ Mysterious Black Glove) over "Quick Draw" Rick McGraw at 6:46. Goulet was unable to apply his Le Scorpion Clawhold, however he won nonetheless by rolling through McGraw's Flying Cross Body Press and grabbing a handful of tights for the pin.

2. The colorful Goldie Rogers drew some heat in Dayton but the bonus heel points were not enough to propel him to victory over the Tonga Kid. A leaping Head Butt from the 2nd rope by Tonga sent Rogers down to the mat and was followed up by a Diving Splash off the top for the pinfall at 4:00.

3. The Mighty Hercules (w/ 10 feet of chain & Bobby "The Brain" Heenan) defeated Brady Boone at 3:24. Boone's high-flying prowess was grounded by his opponent's brute strength in this one-sided contest. Hercules caught Brady in Backbreaker Rack for the submission victory.

4. The Killer Bees (B. Brian Blair & "Jumping" Jim Brunzell) employed some masked confusion to defeat the North-South Connection of Adrian Adonis & Dick Murdoch at 12:08. Things were looking grim for the Bee's when B. Brian Blair was flattened by a Double Clothesline off the ropes by the North-South Connection, however Brunzell was able to trade places with his partner while Adonis & Murdoch showboated in the ring. When Murdoch finally got around to making a cover, he was cradled in a Small Package by Brunzell for the three count.

5. In what was easily the match of the night, Greg "The Hammer" Valentine (w/ Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart) bested Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat (w/ Fire-breathing entrance) at 17:57. The momentum of a Flying Cross Body Press off the top rope by Steamboat sent the Hammer crashing into Referee Danny Davis who was standing behind him. Valentine's shoulders were down on the mat but there was no referee to count the pin. As Steamboat was helping Davis get back to his feet, Jimmy Hart tossed his megaphone into the ring to Valentine who then bashed the Dragon from behind with it. Steamboat went down for the count as Davis recovered to count the pin.

6. WWF World Title Match. Champion Hulk Hogan (w/ T-Shirt Ripping, Ear-Cupping, Muscle-Posing "Real American" Entrance) laid the smackdown on challenger "Ace" Cowboy Bob Orton (w/ "Rowdy" Roddy Piper). After a pretty even start, Orton eventually gained the upper hand in this match with the use of his controversial forearm cast, but the Hulkster, as he always does, made a spirited comeback that was capped off by a Big Boot to the mush and the Running Leg Drop. Piper ran in to spoil the three count but drew the disqualification on Orton in the process at 12:41. After the bell, the heels double teamed Hogan until Hillbilly Jim, who was signing autographs in the lobby, ran in to even the odds. Piper and Orton beat a hasty treat to the back as the Hulkster and Jim celebrated in the ring. Hulk Hogan retains the WWF Title !

World Class Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Reunion Arena, Dallas, TX. Att: 7,586.

Announcers: Dan Coates & Johnny Weaver
Ring Announcer: Joe Rinelli
Referees: Danny Pleches, Bronco Lubich & Fred Sinclair

1. "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer drew some interesting spectators as both Matt Borne and Percy Pringle III came down to ringside to watch his match against the Mighty Zulu Warrior. Pringle and Borne seemed most impressed as the Mad Dog manhandled Zulu right from the onset before finishing him off with the Flying Powerslam off the ropes at 3:43. After the bell, Sawyer, Borne and Percy all left ringside together.

2. On the comeback trail after recently dropping the Televison Title to Brian Adidas, Al Madril was able to induce a submission from his game opponent Jose Lothario with an Indian Death Lock at 6:04.

3. Mark Youngblood over Killer Tim Brooks by DQ at 6:38. Brooks appeared to score the decisive pinfall after a suspiciously effective Elbow Smash in the corner. Suspecting foul play, Referee Fred Sinclair examined Brook's elbow pad and reversed his decision after finding a hidden foreign object lodged inside.

4. The afore-mentioned Brian Adidas successfully defended his World Class TV Title against Kelly Kiniski at 5:56. Kiniski missed a corner charge and ran full-steam into a vacated turnbuckle. The dazed challenger stumbled backward into a Russian Leg Sweep for the pinfall. Brian Adidas retains the Television Title.

5. Nicola Roberts' Texas Tag Team Champions, the Dynamic Duo of "Gentleman" Chris Adams & "The Handsome Half-Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez, defeated the Batten Twins (Brad & Bart) at 7:20 in a non-title bout. With Hernandez caught in Brad Batten's Boston Crab and Referee Danny Pleches being distracted by Nicola Roberts, Chris Adams ran in and decked Brad with a devastating Superkick to the jaw. Pleches turned around to find Gino making the cover on the KO'd Batten and counted the pin.

6. Iceman King Parsons (w/ a boatload of charisma and something he calls the "Rooty Poot Stick" ) over "Maniac" Mark Lewin (w/ "Playboy" Gary Hart) by disqualification at 11:35. Things were looking good for Lewin when he caught the Iceman in his Singapore Sleeper, but Parsons was able to drop out of it in the corner sending the "Maniac" crashing head first into the ring post. The Iceman quickly cradled the dazed Lewin but was clubbed over the back with his own Rooty Poot Stick by Gary Hart to break up the pin and draw the DQ from Referee Bronco Lubich.

World Class Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Gilley's Club, Pasadena, TX. Att: 4,904.

Announcer: Bill Mercer
Ring Announcer: Marc Lowrance
Referees: Marvin Jones, David Manning & Dick Raines

1. Mongolian monster Killer Khan (w/ Taped Thumb & "Playboy" Gary Hart) did not employ his mysterious green mist tonight but he did use his controversial taped thumb to induce a submission from opponent Perry Jackson with the Asiatic Spike at 4:26.

2. "Lone Star" Rusty Brooks grabbed the mic away from Ring Announcer Marc Lowrance and confidently predicted victory over his opponent "Mr. U.S.A." Tony Atlas but, alas, it was not to be. Showing incredible strength, Atlas military pressed the rotund Brooks over his head before dumping him to the mat like a sack of potatoes. Mr. U.S.A. followed up with a Big Splash to gain the three count at 4:50.

3. Percy Pringle III's new tag team of "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer and "Maniac" Matt Borne looked impressive against their opponents "Private" Terry Daniels and Buck "Rock & Roll" Zumhoffe. Borne and Sawyer wore down Daniels and managed to keep him from tagging out. The Private was dismissed after the one-two punch of a Sawyer Powerslam off the ropes followed by Borne's Seated Splash from the top rope at 6:43.

4. An errant tennis racquet smash from Manager Jim Cornette spelled doom for his charge "Crippler" Rip Oliver who was pinned thereafter by popular South African Steve Simpson at 8:45. With Referee Marvin Jones knocked down to the canvas, Cornette's best intentions were foiled when Simpson escaped the Crippler's clutches just as the pesty manager wielded his racquet. Cornette scored a direct hit to Oliver's noggin leading to the pinfall. Simpson hooked a leg and Marvin Jones recovered to add the three count.

5. "Cowboy" Scott Casey (w/ Sunshine) and the Missing Link (w/ General Skandor Akbar) were both Counted Out by Referee David Manning at 7:59. A wild melee that spilled out onto the floor and went half way back up the aisle toward the Gilley's bar. Even Sunshine and Skandor Akbar got in on the action as the valet jumped on the General's back and was promptly deposited onto a spectator's lap. Casey and the Link continued to battle as they disappeared out a side exit and into the Pasadena night.

6. "The Handsome Half-Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez, who is one half of the Texas Tag Team Champions along with "Gentleman" Chris Admas, can thank stablemate Jake "The Snake" Roberts for his victory over Kevin Von Erich in the Main Event. Jake slithered into the ring behind Referee Dick Raines' back and helped Hernandez double team Von Erich before delivering his signature DDT. Raines, who was arguing with Gino's valet Nicola Roberts the whole time, finally turned around to find Hernandez making the cover on Kevin and counted the pin.

GV
World Class Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Reliant Arena, Houston, TX. Att: 6,949.

Announcers: Dan Coates & Johnny Weaver
Ring Announcer: Doyle King
Referees: Fred Sinclair, Bronco Lubich & Ralph Pulley

1. "Cowboy" Tony Falk may have had the fans shaking their heads with his pink bandana & Stetson, but he did not make an impression on his opponent the Zulu Warrior. The crowd was more than happy to see Falk submit to the Zulu's Bear Hug at 4:25.

2. Al Madril was most impressive in his victory over Sean Cody. Al had barely broken a sweat by the time Cody tapped out to his Indian Death Lock at 2:01. Madril was being interviewed by Doyle King after the match when he was (inadvertently?) bumped into by the Great Kabuki who was making his way to the ring for the next bout. A shoving match ensued and was quickly broken up by "Playboy" Gary Hart.

3. The Great Kabuki was still jawing with Madril when he was caught from behind in a quick cradle by his opponent Spike Huber and nearly pinned in the matches' opening seconds. Kabuki then unleashed a flurry of martial arts kicks and chops on Huber before clamping on a shoulder nerve pinch. Once again Madril and Kabuki had words prompting yet another confrontation. Huber tried to sneak up from behind and capitalize on the distraction but this time Kabuki saw him coming and laid out his opponent with a mighty Thrust Kick to the jaw that could be heard ten rows back. That was all she wrote for Spike who went down for the 1-2-3 at 4:37.

4. In an incredible upset, the team of Kelly Kiniski and "Killer" Tim Brooks defeated Kevin and Mike Von Erich at 7:40. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, who had cost Kevin a loss against Gino Hernandez last week in Pasadena, slithered into a ring full of chaos and planted the Von Erich brother into the mat once again with his deadly DDT. Brooks was quick to hook a leg and gain the three count. It all happened so quick that both the fans and Mike Von Erich were dumbfounded as to what had happened. Kevin was helped back to his feet and immediately set off in search of Roberts.

5. Iceman King Parsons scored some bonus points for dancing with a youngster to his entrance music and went on to beat the Grappler (Len Denton under a mask) at 8:13. The key to this victory was Parsons' ability to avoid the masked man's notorious loaded boot. The end came when the Grappler was Atomic Dropped into a corner turnbuckle and staggered backward into a Schoolboy Roll Up for the pinfall.

6. The popular Red River Jack (a masked Bruiser Brody) was counted out in the Main Event against Abdullah the Butcher at 11:52. An absolute war both in and out of the ring that saw both men nearly disqualified by Referee Ralph Pulley on several occasions. Ironically enough, it was the Butcher's manager "Playboy" Gary Hart who struck the decisive blow by clubbing Jack from behind with Abdullah's Kendo Stick OOR leading to the count out.

World Class Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Bell County Exposition Center, Belton, TX. Att: 4,374.

Announcers: Bill Mercer & Sunshine
Ring Announcer: Marc Lowrance
Referees: Rick Hazzard, Bronco Lubich & Ralph Pulley

1. Billy Jack Haynes barely broke a sweat in tonight's opening match against El Gran Diablo. The masked man from South of the Border was on the receiving end for nearly the entire match. Billy Jack put him away with his Full Nelson submission at 2:42.

2. "Playboy" Gary Hart's monsterous One Man Gang from Halsted Street, Chicago Illinois overpowered the game but diminutive Buck "Rock N' Roll" Zumhoffe. Buck had the fans clapping along to Bob Seger's "Old Time Rock & Roll" to earn some bonus points but was dominated by the Gang right from the opening bell rang. A 747 Splash from the top rope spelled curtains for Zumhoffe at 4:47.

3. "Latin Heartthrob" Al Perez looked smooth in the ring tonight against "Master G" George Wells. Wells had his moments including a Running Football Tackle from a 3-Point Stance that might have finished off a lesser opponent but the Latin Heartthrob managed to kick out of that pinning predicament. The crafty Perez eventually converted a telegraphed Back Body Drop attempt into a Small Package for the three count at 6:02.

4. Texas TV Title Match. "Killer" Tim Brooks pulled out all the stops in an attempt to strip defending champ Brian Adidas of his belt tonight but it was not to be. Brooks employed a hidden foreign object quite effectively and thought that he had won the title after a loaded punch. Referee Bronco Lubich tried to inform him that it was only a two count, but Brooks was caught up in the moment and rolled up from behind by Adidas for the winning pinfall at 7:59 as he was reaching for the TV Title Belt that was sitting on the announcers' table. Brian Adidas retains the Televison Title.

5. Al Madril (w/ new found popularity after an awkward encounter with the Great Kabuki last week) was counted out in his match against "Ravishing" Rick Rude (w/ Percy Pringle III) at 7:14. Kabuki's manager "Playboy" Gary Hart joined the broadcast table to denounce Madril for his actions. It did not take long for a confrontation to develop. Madril bailed from the ring to have words with Hart on the floor and was blindsided by a sneak attack from Kabuki. Madril battled back but received a faceful of the Kabuki's mysterious Green Mist while Referee Ralph Pulley's count was reaching ten.

6. In a Six Man Tag Main Event, the Von Erich Brothers (Kevin, Mike & Texas Champion Kerry) defeated Jake "The Snake" Roberts and the Texas Tag Team Champions, Nicola Roberts' Dynamic Duo of "Gentleman" Chris Adams & "The Handsome Half-Breed from Highland Park" Gino Hernandez at 14:31. Referee Rick Hazzard had the daunting task of trying to maintain order in this bitter match. Kevin Von Erich, who has had his problems with Jake the Snake as of late, finally got his hands on Roberts (literally) with the famous Von Erich Claw Hold. Despite that, it was an errant Superkick from Adams that ultimately did in Nicola's trio. Gino was holding Kerry Von Erich from behind for the Adams' finisher when the Texas Champion escaped at the last second leaving Hernandez to take the full brunt of his partner's Superkick on the chin. Gino was down and out for the three count as Kerry made the cover.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & David Crockett
Ring Announcer: Billy Powell
Referees: Lee Scott, Tommy Young & Jack Terry

1. The masked Thunderfoots I & II beat the hapless Mulkey Brothers at 4:04. Thunderfoot #1 pinned Bill Mulkey after he combined with his partner for a double kick to the midsection with loaded boots.

2. American Starship Eagle (Dan Spivey) beat "Wild" Bill White at 6:58. Both men simultaneously decked each other with clotheslines off the ropes prompting a ten count from Referee Tommy Young. White was in the process of trying to get to his feet when Eagle climbed over him to hoist himself up first just as Young's count was reaching "10".

3. Tully Blanchard (w/ his "Perfect Ten" Baby Doll) put away Rocky King at 3:31. Tully was in top form tonight and really mugged it up for the cameras to earn himself extra heel points in Greensboro. Whether he needed the bonus points or not is a moot point. Blanchard dominated Rocky the entire match before ending things with his trademark Slingshot Suplex.

4. Sam Houston defeated Black Bart (w/ Double B Branding Iron & James J. Dillon) by DQ at 8:26. The lanky cowboy Houston and his tough hombre of an opponent put on quite a show for the fans. Bart was in trouble after missing his Texas Trash Compactor Flying Leg Drop and resorting to jabbing Houston in the gut with his "BB" Branding Iron to draw the disqualification from Referee Lee Scott.

5. "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff (w/ Uncle Ivan & Krusher Khruschev) over "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler at 7:49. This might as well have been a handicap match for Tyler as all three Russians got in on the action. Nikita constantly tossed his opponent out of the ring to let his corner men do their dirty work on the floor. Buzz was ripe for the pickins by the time Nikita flattened him with the Russian Sickle clothesline off the ropes for the three count. The Russians continued to put the boots to Tyler until Magnum T.A. ran in with a chair and cleared the ring of the heels.

6. Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Title Match. The defending Champions, the Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) and their challengers Arn & Ole Anderson were counted out by Referee Lee Scott at 13:54 as all four men took the battle to the floor and back up the aisle to the dressing room. The Express retain their Tag Team Titles.

7. United States Title Match. Champion "Superstar" Billy Graham (w/ Manager "Number One" Paul Jones) received a gift disqualification victory over his challenger "Rugged" Ronnie Garvin at 11:17. The ending of this match was expertly set up by comments made by the devious Paul Jones in a pre match interview with David Crockett. Jones asserted that the success of Garvin's famous knockout punch could be attributed to the use of brass knucks to accomplish the feat. Jones emphasized this point to Referee Jack Terry before the bell and made Terry search Garvin repeatedly for any concealed weapons and foreign objects. Sure enough, Graham fell victim to the "Hands of Stone" KO Punch prompting Jones to toss brass knucks into the ring just as Garvin was going for the cover. Jack Terry saw the knucks lying on the mat beside the KO'd Graham and immediately called for the bell despite the vehement protests of Garvin. Superstar Billy Graham retains the United States Title.

The Stallion mounted a spirited comeback and pinned South with a Powerslam off the ropes.

Announced for Starrcade: The Rock & Roll Express vs. Arn & Ole Anderson for the NWA Tag Team Titles.

2. Young Barry Windham continued to impress as he took out Tony Zane with a Running Bulldog out of the corner at 3:45. The finisher was set up by a Flying Cowboy Lariat off the ropes which spun Zane around in mid-air and nearly took him out of his wrestling boots.

Announced for Starrcade: "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant vs. "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez in a Steel Cage Match.

3. "Pistol" Pez Whatley was defeated by the Barbarian (w/ "Number One" Paul Jones) at 7:58. Pez had the crowd's support behind him but it was not enough to bring him a win. The devious Paul Jones reached into the ring and tripped Whatley as he was bounding off the ropes. The Barbarian followed up with a Swan Dive Head Butt from the top turnbuckle to put away his opponent.

Announced for Starrcade: "Superstar" Billy Graham vs. Barry Windham for the United States Title.

4. "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant over "Outlaw" Ron Bass (w/ J.J. Dillon) by disqualification at 8:33. Valiant appeared to be on his way to victory after catching Bass in a Sleeper Hold off the ropes but Paul Jones' Army members "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez and the Barbarian stormed the ring and put a beating on the Boogie-Woogie Man. The Road Warriors then raced in to make the save and cleared the ring of the heels.

Announced for Starrcade: Magnum T.A. vs. "Russian Nightmare" Nikita Koloff in a Russian Chain Match.

5. The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal w/ "Precious" Paul Ellering & rolled up Wall Street Journal newspaper) defeated Jim Cornette's Midnight Express ("Sweet" Stan Lane & "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton) at 12:29. In an incredible display of strength, Animal military pressed Sweet Stan several times over his head before tossing him onto Beautiful Bobby like a rag doll just as Eaton ran into the ring to help his partner. Animal piled on top of them to pin Eaton's shoulders to the mat for the three count. Cornette made a last ditch effort to enter the ring and break up the pin but was thwarted by Ellering who held his leg from behind.

Announced for Starrcade: "Nature Boy" Ric Flair vs. Rick Steamboat for the World Title.

6. The Main Event bout between Rick Steamboat and Chief Wahoo McDaniel was ruled a No Contest by Referee Sonny Fargo at 10:31 after a run in by the Four Horsemen. Tully Blanchard, Arn & Ole Anderson and NWA World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair himself all attacked Steamboat in street clothes. In an unexpected babyface turn, Wahoo came to Steamboat's rescue and helped chase off the Horsemen with a series of Tomahawk Chops as the fans roared in approval. Flair and company had some choice words for McDaniel as they cautiously retreated to the back.

STARRCADE (NWA Mid-Atlantic Circa Mid 80's) - The Omni, Atlanta, GA. Att: 14,685.

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & David Crockett
Ring Announcer: Ed Capral
Referees: Tommy Young, Mike Atkins & Stu Schwartz

1. The recently turned babyface Chief Wahoo McDaniel received a nice ovation from the crowd and went on to defeat the Barbarian (w/ "No. 1" Paul Jones) at 6:44. Things were looking grim for Wahoo when the Barbarian scaled the top rope to deliver his patented Swan Dive Head Butt, but the Chief was able to roll out of the way at the last second and elude the devastating finisher. Paul Jones sealed his man's fate by accidentally clubbed the Barbarian to the mat with his cane. McDaniel followed up with a falling Tomahawk Chop to the head for the pinfall.

2. NWA Tag Team Title Match. Arn & Ole Anderson of the Four Horsemen were unsuccessful in their bid to unseat the Rock & Roll Express (Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson) as Tag Team Champions. The Andersons had a legitimate gripe about the ending of this match. Robert Gibson caught Arn Anderson in a Sunset Flip but had difficulty getting him over. As Arn struggled to maintain his balance, Ricky Morton raced into the ring with a Flying Drop Kick to the mush toppling Arn over for Gibson's three count. The time of the fall was 12:56. The Rock & Roll Express retain the Tag Team Titles.

3. NWA TV Title Match. "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes seemed to be well on his way to defending his Television title by dominating his challenger Don Kernodle from the onset. With Referee Mike Atkins knocked down to the mat, the desperate Kernodle tried to bash Dusty with his own TV Title Belt but a Bionic Elbow to the noggin thwarted that attempt. The Dream then made the cover but Atkins had yet to recover from his bump in the ring. As Rhodes got up to check on the ref, he was met by Tully Blanchard who came out of nowhere to DDT the Dream onto the TV Belt. Tully then threw Kernodle on top of Dusty and high-tailed it out of the ring as Atkins finally recovered to count the pin. Don Kernodle is the neeeeeewwwwww New Television Champion.

4. Steel Cage Match. (Rules stipulate that the match can be won by exiting the cage via door or climbing out, pinfall or submission.) "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant was able to get some long overdue revenge on his former friend and traitorous turncoat "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez. The Bull's manager Paul Jones slid a blackjack through the cage wall for Fernandez to use, but Valiant was able to get to it first and stagger his adversary with the weapon. Valiant then clamped on a Sleeper Hold to incapacitate Fernandez and escape through the cage door at 10:37.

5. United States Title Match. Everything had been going wrong thus far for Paul Jones and his Army tonight but the devious manager was able to atone for his previous miscues by helping US Champion "Superstar" Billy Graham defeat his challenger Barry Windham at 9:45. Windham grabbed the Champ in a headlock and was poised to deliver his Bulldog finisher out of the corner when Jones abruptly reached in and tripped him. Barry toppled to the canvas and Graham pounced on top of him with both feet on the ropes for leverage to gain the three count. "Superstar" Billy Graham retains the NWA United States Title.

6. Seeking vengeance for a neck injury sustained at the hands of Nikita Koloff that ultimately cost him his United States Title, Magnum T.A. gained some revenge against "The Russian Nightmare" by defeating him tonight in a Russian Chain Match. Both men were bloody and battered in this brutal contest. The end came when Magnum was able to duck a Russian Sickle and crotched Koloff with the chain to score the pinfall at 9:19.

7. NWA World Title Match. The fans were treated to a real classic as NWA World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair eked out a win by the skin of his teeth and turned back the challenge of Rick Steamboat at 27:03. It would not be a Ric Flair match without the flip over the turnbuckle on a corner whip as well as the face-first flop to the mat. We had loud, knife-edge chops galore to the chest. We had "Woooooos" and the Fargo Strut and we had the Flair Figure Four Leglock which Steamboat was not only able to sustain but also turn over and reverse the pressure on the writhing Champion. We had Flair on his knees begging for mercy, eye pokes, low blows and pulling out a victory from the jaws of defeat when the Nature Boy was able to roll through Steamboat's Diving Cross Body Press off the top rope and pin him with a handful of tights. Ric Flair retains the NWA World Title.

Jim Crockett Promotions NWA Mid-Atlantic Results (Circa Mid 80's) - Superstation TV Studios, WTBS Channel 17, Atlanta, GA. Att: 915

Announcers: Tony Schiavone & David Crockett
Ring Announcer: (David Crockett makes the introductions from the announcers' table)
Referees: Tommy Young, Sonny Fargo & Mike Atkins

Schiavone & Crockett are buzzing over the Starrcade results from the Omni last week. They immediately focus on the TV Title changing hands as Don Kernodle upset "American Dream" Dusty Rhodes with a little help from the swarmy Tully Blanchard. We are shown a clip of Blanchard giving the Dream a DDT onto the TV Championship Belt behind the referee's back and dragging Kernodle on top of Rhodes for the pin. Tully comes out chuckling to himself with his "Perfect Ten" Baby Doll in tow to talk about it.

Blanchard: "You know, David Crockett, everybody out there in TV Land wants to know why I helped Don Kernodle beat the "American Dream" to win my Television Championship. That's right, I said MY Television Championship because everyone knows that I'm the greatest TV Champion that this company has ever known or will ever know. (Baby Doll is nodding emphatically) They want to know if there was a conspiracy. They want to know if Kernodle paid me off. Well, I'm here to set the record straight. (Tully points an angry finger into the camera) Dusty Rhodes, what happened in that ring last week was personal between you and I. It's got nothing to do with Don Kernodle... it's got nothing to do with wins and losses and it's got nothing to do with my Television Belt being around that fat waist of your ugly carcass. But it's got everything to do with this beautiful lady standing here beside me. I've seen the way you eyeball my "Perfect Ten" Baby Doll and that DDT was for her. (Baby Doll wags her finger at an imaginary Dusty Rhodes and shakes her head) The next time you think about ogling my woman, Big Dust, you just remember that migraine headache that Tully Blanchard gave you in the Omni. Now if you'll excuse me, David Crockett, I've got some business to attend to in the ring."

1. Tully Blanchard (w/ Baby Doll) over Tim "Powerhouse" Parker at 2:40. Tully opened the bout with a legit handshake for his opponent before going to work on Parker. Blanchard can wrestle when he wants to and put on a clinic of holds and counter holds before ending things with his trademark Slingshot Suplex.

2. The recently turned babyface Chief Wahoo McDaniel received a nice hand from the studio audience during his ring entrance and took care of opponent Tony Zane in short order. Whether he is a heel or a babyface, Wahoo is Wahoo. Once the bell rings, the Chief is all business and he absolutely mauled Zane tonight with a barrage of Tomahawk Chops. Zane tapped out to McDaniel's Indian Deathlock at 2:28.

3. Mulkey Mania was derailed by Jim Cornette's Midnight Express ("Beautiful" Bobby Eaton & "Sweet" Stan Lane) at 4:05. The Midnights barely broken a sweat and made sure that their loudmouth manager got in his verbal barbs on the hapless Mulkey brothers (Bill & Randy). The Express pinned Bill Mulkey with something that Cornette refers to as "The Double Goozle" (Eaton Schoolboy Roll Up from behind with Lane's Running Clothesline).

David Crockett then brought out "Boogie-Woogie Man" Jimmy Valiant (who entered the studio to "Boy from New York City" theme music) for an interview. Jimmy spent a considerable amount of time hugging and kissing the fans at ringside before finally making his way over to the announcers' table where the reluctant Crockett even got a kiss. "Mercy ! The Boogie-Woogie Man loves you all, baby !" Valiant said before ranting about his favorite subject "Number One" Paul Jones. Jimmy said his victory over "Raging Bull" Manny Fernandez in their Steel Cage match at Starrcade was "just the beginning of beautiful things". Valiant said that he "won the battle" but that his war with Paul Jones' Army was "far from over". The Boogie-Woogie Man told United States Champion Superstar Billy Graham to "watch out, baby" and closed his interview with "Paul Jones, the Boogie Man gonna getcha !"

4. "Avalanche" Buzz Tyler got himself back on track with a victory over Vernon Deaton. Buzz has been on a bit of losing streak as of late but had no problems dismantling Deaton tonight. Tyler crushed his opponent with an Avalanche following a corner whip and polished off Deaton with a Running Powerslam for the three count at 3:51.

5. Newly crowned Television Champion Don Kernodle drew some serious heat in the Superstation Studios as he successfully defended his belt against the Italian Stallion. Kernodle displayed a short temper and a highly aggressive style by defeating the Stallion with a Cobra Clutch at 4:56 and then refusing to release the hold. Kernodle was on the verge of being disqualified by Referee Sonny Fargo when he finally let go. Don Kernodle retains the NWA Mid-Atlantic TV Title.

David Crockett Interviewed NWA World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair. Although he is a heel, Flair, who was "Styling and Profiling" a snappy new suit and designer sun glasses along with "the ten pounds of gold", got a big hand from the crowd and took a minute to bask in their adulation. "These people," an emotional Flair said as he pointed around the studio audience, "Know quality when they see it, David Crockett, and they know a real Champion when they see one as well." Flair went on to say that he is "bright lights and big cities" and "stretch limos filled to the brim with more women than he knows what to do with". Flair assured the ladies not to worry and added that "there was enough Nature Boy to go around". The Champ's mood abruptly changed, however, as Jay Youngblood made his way to the ring. "This man," Flair sneered while pointing an accusing finger at Youngblood, "Has absolutely no talent and even less brains. He would have been wise to stay at home on his reservation with his squaw than to get in my ring." Flair then winked at the camera and strutted off the set.

6. Jay Youngblood successfully returned from a knee injury suffered at the hands of World Champion "Nature Boy" Ric Flair and his Figure Four Leglock to beat Chris Champion (w/ New Breed tag team partner Sean Royal) at 7:47. Royal did his best to help his partner win this one by constantly interfering but ended up contributing to his downfall. Champion was Drop Kicked into Royal as the two conferred in the corner causing him to stumble backward from the collision right into a Schoolboy Roll Up for the pinfall.

1. Christian York defeated Robbie E from the Jersey Shore with help from Big Robbie T at 4:41. Robbie E was very fidgety during this match and kept looking around for his former bouncer and tag team partner Rob Terry to appear. Sure enough, the big man did come down to ringside mid-match. His presence alone was enough to distract Robbie E into falling victim to York's Mood Swing (Swinging Neckbreaker) finisher for the pinfall.

2. Knockouts Match. Spunky Taeler Hendrix was taken to school by Miss Tessmacher and pinned with the Tess-Shocker (Belly to Back Facebuster) at 3:01.

3. Truth or Consequences (Ron "The Truth" Killings & Consequences Creed) beat Ink, Inc. (Shannon Moore & Jesse Neal) at 5:43. Killings was able to sidestep Jesse Neal's Running Spear in the corner causing Neal to ram his shoulder into the ring post. "The Truth" quickly cradled his injured opponent with a handful of tights to score the pinfall. Truth or Consequences drew tremendous heat in the Impact Zone to earn bonus heel points.

4. A.J. Styles brought a new, aggressive attitude to the ring with him and was disqualified in his match against Kid Kash at 8:00. A.J. dominated the bout but became agitated with Senior Official Earl Hebner after what he considered to be a slow count following a Kid Kash kick out on a pin attempt. Styles pushed Hebner down to the mat and stormed out of the ring.

5. X Divison Title Match. Challenger Zema Ion thought he had things going his way after spraying the Champ, Samoa Joe, in the eyes with his hair spray however it was not to be. Ion climbed up to the top rope only to be caught in Joe's Muscle Buster (High Angle Fisherman's Suplex) for the pin. Samoa Joe retains the X Division Title.

6. In the Main Event, the self-professed "Greatest Man Who Ever Lived" Austin Aries defeated "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle with help from "The It Factor" Bobby Roode at 17:10. With Referee Brian Stiffler knocked down in the action and Aries tapping out to Kurt's Ankle Lock submission hold, Roode raced into the ring and smashed Angle from behind with a folding chair. Roode dragged Aries on top of the KO'd Kurt and high-tailed it out of the ring as Stiffler crawled over to make the three count.

The program begins with a backstage meeting in TNA President Dixie Carter's office. We see Dixie, Impact GM Hulk Hogan, Programming Director Frank Coutinho and Senior VP Bruce Prichard discussing the Number One Contender candidates for TNA World Champion Sting's title. Many names are tossed around but the meeting breaks up without a definitve answer. As the members file out of Dixie's office, Bully Ray grabs Frank by the arm and pulls him aside.

Bully: "What was that all about ? Am I getting my title shot at Sting or not ?? "

Frank: "No comment."

Bully: "Do you know who I am ??"

(Frank rolls his eyes.)

Bully: "As the President of Aces & Eights, I have the right to know, Coutinho !"

Frank: "You'll find out when every one else does, Bully."

(Bully looks around to see if anyone is watching. Then he talks quietly to Frank.)

Bully: "Look, TNA has been sticking it to Aces & Eights right from the getgo and you know it, Frank. We got Tazz to watch our backs at the announcers' table. What we need now is someone on the inside... Someone with some rub in the front office, see ? (Bully looks around again, pauses, and then continues in a very low voice) Someone to watch out for Aces & Eights in the big corporate meetings... someone to get us the Main Events... Someone to get me a shot at Sting's title.... Someone... like Frank Coutinho."

Frank: "Now wait just a minute..."

(Bully shushes Frank and looks around again. When he's convinced that no one is eavesdropping he continues...)

Bully: "Think it over, Frank. We'll make it worth your while."

With that, Bully Ray sneaks away into the shadows and we go to our first match.

1. ODB (w/ Hubby Eric Young) beat Mexican-America's Rosita (w/ Anarquia) with the BAM ! (Fireman's Carry Spinout Facebuster) at 6:22. Controversy-a-plenty in this bout. It seemed as though Rosita had won the match with a Moonsault off the top rope, however Knockouts' Referee Taryn Terrell ruled that ODB's foot was under the bottom rope and stopped her pin count at two. Rosita had a fit and was screaming at Terrell when she was abruptly spun around by her opponent and pinned with ODB's finisher.

Backstage Segment

Rosita and Taryn Terrell have been summoned to Knockouts' Director Brooke Hogan's office. Each lady tells their side of the story regarding what just happened in the match with ODB. Brooke listens patiently but Rosita is a firecracker and rambling in Spanish. Rosita gets right up in Terrell's face and slaps her. Brooke has to keep them separated as they try to get at one another. She tells both girls to save it for next week. Brooke makes the match - Rosita vs. Terrell on Impact.

2. Aces & Eights' Wes Brisco (w/ Garret Bischoff) was stunned by the diminutive Rockstar Spud. Brisco did not take this match seriously and was caught off guard with a Small Package whilst showboating in the ring for the pinfall at 4:30.

Backstage Segment.

Kurt Angle is pacing in GM Hulk Hogan's office and fuming over his loss to Austin Aries last week after a chair shot from Bobby Roode. Angle wants a tag match against Aries & Roode in tonight's Main Event. The Hulkster asks Angle if he has someone in mind to be his partner for the match. Kurt smiles and whispers the name into Hulk's ear. Hogan nods and gives his blessing, "You got it, Brother. Now take care of your business!"

3. "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan and Gunner were both counted out by Referee Jamie Tucker at 6:57 as they battled back up the ramp and into the back.

Frank Coutinho makes his way to the announcers' table and hands Mike Tenay some production notes. Tazz greets Frank warmly with a big hug and says "Welcome aboard, Buddy !" Tenay looks confused and ponders what he has just witnessed.

Tenay: "Welcome aboard" ?? "What's that all about, Tazz ?"

(Tazz just chuckles. He wants to say something but decides to clam up.)

Tazz: "I was just, you know, welcoming Frank to our broadcast table that's all, Mike."

(Tenay shoots him a suspicious look.)

Tazz: "What ? I haven't seen Frank in a long time !"

Tazz laughs again as we go to our next match.

4. "Mr. Pec-Tacular" Jesse Godderz (w/ Tara) was disqualified at 5:23 in his match against "Super Mex" Hernandez. Referee Mike Posey called for the bell when Tara ran into the ring and broke up Hernandez' pin attempt after the Border Toss finisher.

Backstage Segment.

We see Aces & Eight's Garret Bischoff leave Frank's office. The camerman follows him down the hallway and asks him what he was doing in there. Bischoff tells him to mind his own business.

5. TNA TV Title Match. For a few anxious moments, the Impact Zone thought a new TV Champion had been crowned when challenger Christopher Daniels (w/ Kazarian) had pinned the defending Champ, Rob Van Dam. RVD was attempting to suplex Daniels when Kaz reached into the ring and yanked Van Dam's leg out from under him. Daniels fell on top of RVD and Jamie Tucker counted the pin. Before Tucker could award the belt to Daniels, however, Mike Posey ran into the ring and informed Tucker of the mischief. Tucker immediately reversed his decision and awared the match to RVD by way of disqualification due to the outside interference of Kazarian.

Backstage Segment.

Frank returns to his office and finds a mysterious present on his desk. He opens the package, peeks inside, and slams it back down on his desk. The camera tries to zoom in on the package's contents but we can't make out what's in the box. Frank storms out of his office in search of Bully Ray. He brushes past Aces & Eights' members Mr. Anderson and Devon.

Anderson (To Devon): "You know about, Frank, right ?"

Devon shrugs: "Yeah, he's one of Hogan's crew."

(Anderson smiles and whispers something in Devon's ear. Devon's eyes immediatley light up and he beams a big smile !)

Devon: "Oh, My Brother, TESTIFY !!"

6. "Olympic Gold Medalist" Kurt Angle revealed his mystery tag team partner to be none other than "Cowboy" James Storm much to the delight of the fans, but Austin Aries & Bobby Roode managed to pull out the victory by way of Count Out at 11:06. Storm was smashed over the head with one of his own long neck beer bottles by Roode after the Cowboy had been tossed OOR by Aries. Mike Posey missed the infraction and laid the ten count on Storm.

Backstage Segment.

Hulk Hogan knocks on Frank's office door. He has the perfect man in mind for the Number One Contender spot to Sting's title and wants to run it by Frank. There is no answer at the door. Hulk enters and finds the office empty. He sees the open package on Frank's desk and picks it up. Hulk's jaw drops as he pulls an Aces & Eights' black leather cut out of the box with Frank's name embroidered on the front. The Hulkster rubs his chin and ponders as the program ends.

1. Sleazy Joey Ryan drew a ton of heat in Lexington and carried the bonus heels points to victory over his opponent Sonjay Dutt at 6:45. Ryan connected with the Mustache Ride (Swinging Neckbreaker off the top rope) after Dutt had just missed a high risk maneuver moments earlier.

Backstage Segment

TNA Knockouts' Director Brooke Hogan is contemplating a referee for tonight's grudge match between Taryn Terrell and Rosita. Joey Ryan walks by and immediately volunteers for the job. Joey seems more interested in flirting with Brooke than in officiating the match. Brooke wants no part of him and suddenly spies Eric Young munching on a bucket of fried chicken backstage. Brooke asks EY if he could referee the match and he agrees. Eric hands Joey the bucket of chicken, puts on a ref's shirt and runs down to ringside. Joey reaches into the bucket for a piece of chicken but finds it empty.

2. Knockouts Grudge Match with Special Guest Referee Eric Young. Taryn Terrell pinned Mexican America's Rosita at 4:51. Controversy-a-plenty in this bout as EY seemed rather smitten with Miss Terrell throughout the contest. Young's wife ODB noticed as well and marched herself down to ringside to keep a watchful eye on her hubby. EY employed a rather fast three count on Rosita after Terrell came off the top rope with a Diving Cross Body Press for the pinfall. After the bout, ODB took her husband by the ear and tugged him backstage.

Backstage Segment.

Impact GM Hulk Hogan is searching backstage for Programming Director Frank Coutinho. Hulk wants some answers in regards to rumors involving Frank joining up with the Aces & Eights. The Hulkster bumps into A.J. Styles and asks him if he's seen Frank. Styles just ignores him and walks on. Hulk shakes his head and stares at Styles, "What happened to you, Dude ?" Styles keeps on walking and says nothing.

3. Big Rob Terry over Knux of Aces & Eights by DQ for outside interference at 5:13. Robbie E's former bouncer from the Jersey Shore more than held his own against Knux and planted him with the Freakbuster (Standing Thrust Spinebuster), however Terry was overcome by an Aces and Eights run in before he could make the pin. Mr. Anderson, Garett Bischoff and Devon put a beatdown on Terry. Devon stood over the battered Terry and reminded the crowd that "When you ride with the Aces & Eights, you never walk alone !"

Backstage Segment.

We see several members of the Aces & Eights milling about TNA Programming Director Frank Coutinho's office door. Frank does not seem pleased to find them there as he walks up to the group. Wes Brisco gives Frank a pat on the back. Frank enters his office and slams the door shut. He is startled to find someone sitting there in the shadows. Frank peeks at the figure in the hoodie and discovers that it is none other than A.J. Styles. Styles is silent and brooding. He doesn't even acknowledge Frank's presence. Frank tries to talk to him but Styles does not respond. He just stares off into space. The phone rings and it's Impact GM Hulk Hogan. The Hulkster wants to see Frank in his office pronto and he does not sound happy.

4. Chavo Guerrero defeated Matt Hardy with the Frog Splash at 7:54. Hardy brought a folding chair into the ring but had it Drop Kicked into his face with a loud "clang" to set up Chavo's finisher.

Backstage Segment.

Frank has to push his way through the Aces & Eights members to get out of his office. Devon asks Frank if he's on his way to see Hogan. Frank tells the Sergeant at Arms that it's none of his business. DOC suddenly tosses Frank the Aces & Eights' cut bearing Frank's name and says, "Don't forget this." The Aces & Eights laugh amongst themselves as they watch Frank storm away.

5. TNA Tag Team Title Match. Nothing was settled here as both the defending champs, the British Invasion (Doug Williams & Magnus) and the challengers, the Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin & Alex Shelley) took the battle outside the ring and were counted out by Referee Brian Stiffler. The British Invasion retain the titles.

Backstage Segment

We see Frank on his way to Hulk Hogan's office. He turns a corner and walks past a trash can. Frank abruptly stops, turns around and tosses the Aces & Eights cut into the garbage and then continues on down the hall.

6. In the Main Event, "The War Machine" Rhino Gored his way to victory over his opponent "The Monster" Abyss at 10:56. Abyss was distracted by his own manager Father James Mitchell who was shouting instructions from ringside and turned around right into Rhino's Running Spear for the pinfall.

Backstage Segment.

We're in Impact GM Hulk Hogan's office now with the Hulkster, TNA President Dixie Carter and Frank. There is a long, awkward silence until the Hulkster finally breaks the ice.

Hogan: "Give it to me straight, Brother... are you one of us or one of them ?"

Frank is about to answer when Austin Aries suddenly bursts into the room.

Aries: "Oh, I'm sorry ! Am I interrupting something here ?"

Dixie (annoyed): "As a matter of fact, you are, Austin ! Would you mind leaving please ?"

Aries: "Sure thing, Miss Boss Lady. I just wanted to give Frank this..." (Aries hands Frank the Aces & Eights' cut that he had thrown in the trash.)

Aries (to Frank): "I think you dropped this on your way here, Frank. I found it outside. No need to thank me."

Hogan and Dixie eye Frank suspiciously as Aries exits the offcie with a big grin.

1. In a high impact X-Division contest, Petey Williams demolished Rockstar Spud with the Canadian Destroyer (Front Flip Piledriver) at 5:46.

2. Knockouts Title Match w/ Special Guest Referee O.D.B. (?) Champion Madison Rayne (w/ BFF Gail Kim) vs. "Hardcore Country" Mickie James. There was confusion and controversy from the onset as Taryn Terrell also showed up in her referee attire to officiate the match. While the two women argued over who would officiate, Gail Kim helped Madison double team her opponent. O.D.B.'s hubby Eric Young (who appears to be rather smitten with Miss Terrell in recent weeks) then came down to ringside in an attempt to help sort out the confusion, but instead only added to it. In the meantime, Mickie James was mounting a comeback and fending off both Madison and Gail. The challenger was about to spike Madison with her Mickie-DT when she was spun around and given the Eat Defeat (Inverted Stomp Jawbreaker) by Gail Kim. Madison quickly made the cover and Senior Official Earl Hebner came out of nowhere to count the pin at 7:04. Knockouts' Director Brooke Hogan was fuming as she watched the proceedings from a monitor in the back. Madison Rayne retains the Knockouts' Title.

3. Attorney Joseph Parks, Esq. (w/ OVW mentor "Nightmare" Danny Davis) seemed a bit lost in the ring and was on the receiving end of a beating from "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan when he suddenly decked his opponent with a Clothesline. Parks seemed so surprised by the turn of events that he didn't know what to do next. Davis was trying to shout instructions to the big lummox when the Attorney abruptly turned around right into the Carbon Footprint (Running Big Boot) from Morgan for the pinfall at 5:36. Davis threw up his hands and shook his head in frustration.

4. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy put away Kid Kash with the Swanton Bomb off the top rope at 6:40 after Kash had missed a Missile Drop Kick just moments earlier.

5. The somber and brooding A.J. Styles defeated Chavo Guerrero with a little unexpected and unwanted help from Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian at 8:05. Chavo was in the process of completing his Three Amigos Rolling Verticle Suplexes on Styles when Bad Influence ambled down to ringside. Chavo climbed up to the top rope to deliver his Frog Splash finisher but was pushed off from behind by Kazarian. Oblivious to the interference, Styles then finished off Guerrero with his new Calf Killer submission hold. Daniels and Kaz immediately joined Styles in the ring to celebrate the victory but were sent over the top rope with a Styles' Double Clothesline.

6. Six Man Tag Match. The Main Event Mafia ("Olympic Hero" Kurt Angle, TNA Champion Sting & X Division Champ Samoa Joe) were taking it to their opponents Aces & Eights (Wes Brisco, DOC & Garett Bischoff) when Mr. Anderson came down to ringside and sought out Frank Coutinho at the announcers' table. Frank wanted nothing to do with him and tried to push Anderson away. The two tussled for a bit until the persistent Anderson appeared to find what he was looking for and pulled something out of Frank's suit pocket. With all six men battling and Wes Brisco caught in Kurt Angle's Ankle Lock Submission, Anderson snuck into the ring with a biker chain, wrapped it around his fist and clobbered Angle with a loaded punch from behind while Referee Scott James was trying to restore order. James found Brisco making the cover on Angle amidst all the chaos and counted the pin at 12:27. Todd Keneley grilled Frank about the mysterios appearance of the biker chain and if it had, in fact, been in his suit pocket the whole time. Before he could answer, the Aces & Eights members filed by the announcers' table on their way back to the dressing room. Wes Brisco thanked Frank and gave him a slap on the back as he walked past. Keneley demanded to know what was going on. Mr. Anderson then stuffed the chain into Frank's suit pocket as the program went off the air.
