Hidy, gang, it's time for my 2019 CFP tournament with SBQPHM Football (combo of the d6 charts for Quick Play Football--using my own extremely basic ratings--and the two-minute charts from Highlight Maker Football).
All ten conference champs are in, plus two at-large teams.
I'm currently on vacation in Mexico and didn't bring my football stuff with me, so I won't actually play this out until after I return on Jan. 8th. But here are the seeds and first-round matchups (number after the # is the AP rank, number in parentheses is tournament seed):
#1 LSU (1)--bye
#2 Ohio State (2)--bye
#3 Clemson (3)--bye
#4 Oklahoma (4)--bye
Miami (OH) (12) at #5 Georgia (5)
#20 Appalachian State (10) at #8 Baylor (7)
#18 Boise State (9) at #15 Memphis (8)
Florida Atlantic (11) at #7 Oregon (6)

#20 Appalachian State (10) made it close near the end, but #8 Baylor (7) held on to win it 28-20.
#15 Memphis (8) took care of #18 Boise State (9) 28-12.
And in the nightcap, Florida Atlantic (11) made it interesting for a while, as it was still 7-7 with five minutes left in the second quarter. But after that, it was all #7 Oregon (6), and they pulled away to make the final score 41-7.
Next up, the quarterfinals:
#15 Memphis (8) at #1 LSU (1)
#7 Oregon (6) at #3 Clemson (3)
#5 Georgia (5) at #4 Oklahoma (4)
#8 Baylor (7) at #2 Ohio State (2)
Opening game was a shocker, as #15 Memphis (8) upset #1 LSU (1) 33-17.
#7 Oregon (6) led #3 Clemson (3) 28-17 at the half. After that, Clemson stormed ahead. Oregon fought back and cut Clemson's lead to eight with two minutes to go. Clemson had to punt, so Oregon had a chance, but their drive failed inside the Clemson ten-yard line. Clemson wins it 45-37.
#5 Georgia (5) led #4 Oklahoma (4) the whole way, but it was close. Oklahoma's last drive failed in the red zone, and Georgia wins it 30-23.
And in the nightcap, #2 Ohio State (2) led #8 Baylor (7) 17-7 at the half, and increased their lead to 24-10 at the end of the third quarter. Baylor stormed back in the fourth quarter and cut the deficit to eight with two minutes to go. Ohio State had to punt, but Baylor's last drive failed around the Buckeye 25-yard line. Ohio State pulls it out 31-23.
So now we have the semifinals:
Peach Bowl (national semifinal): #5 Georgia (5) vs. #15 Memphis (8)
Fiesta Bowl (national semifinal): #2 Ohio State (2) vs. #3 Clemson (3)
Orange Bowl (consolation bracket): #1 LSU (1) vs. #4 Oklahoma (4)
Rose Bowl (consolation bracket): #7 Oregon (6) vs. #8 Baylor (7)
No Downey Games stuff here. As stated in the first post, this is a combination of Kimbo's d6 charts for Quick Play Football (using my own extremely basic ratings) and the two-minute charts from Soren Narnia's Highlight Maker Football.
Sorry I haven't checked this site in a while. I'm still planning to resume this tournament, as well as 2020 and 2021, but I just haven't gotten to it yet.
