TV Pro Wrestling vs TV Pro Wrestling 2
CentralCan
Hi,

I was wondering what the opinion is among Downey gamers regarding TVPW vs TVPW2, specifically how much more ( if any ) the game playing experience is between the two games/versions.
I'm a sucker for expanded and/or updated versions of games, so TVPW2 is peaking my interest. But the roster yearbook selection for TVPW ( B&W ) is very impressive. Jeff D. was kind enough to share his opinion to me, but I'd like to read what other gamers think of both TV Pro Wrestling versions. I'm having a real hard time deciding between the two, lol.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I prefer the TV Pro Wrestling wrestler ratings and cards and the move charts. I don't like the color coding or moving away from the d20 on the move charts. That said, I enjoy the enhancements found in TV Pro 2 especially in the updated tag team wrestling rules. I haven't played either game in awhile, but I will always prefer the wrestler cards and move charts of TV Pro Wrestling over TV Pro 2.

If someone is new to the game, TV Pro Wrestling 2 is probably the way to go. Despite my not liking the color coding or new move charts, it is probably a better game for most people. The upgrades make it a better overall game.
